It's sometimes hard to believe that the music in heaven is infinitely more wonderful than this. Some of the musicians on TH-cam are truly blessed with, what I call, an "effortless gift". You sir are one of them. YAH be praised
Amazing talent. Great Sound. It sounds like you are playing a pipe organ. Love this liturgical style especially for talk music or hymn playing. This is really appropriate for a church service. Don't get me wrong, this by itself is not sufficient. You do need your contemporary to meet the conditions of a modern church music program within many services of today. You are one of my favorite organists. God Bless! Keep using your gift for the Lord.
Eddie brown is def indeed a monster and most widely respected because his musicality and his recall. Reminds me of derrick jackson, fred nelson lll, rudolph stanfield, quenell gaskin cory henry lennard razor jason tyson omg ed showers
Out of Eddie brown, Cory Henry, n Kevin Powell, I would have to say Cory is mt favorite but all this cats got different styles that is Jus above the average good church organist.. this a prime example of taking Gods gift n multiplying it.. yall blessed man I'm goin to practice more now n one day I will be there with you cats lol
@nulosounds Hey!! I listened to that "Rodney Hubbard & Phil Jones" duo joint and yall on sumthin' serious N Cleveland... that keyboard patch he used was Priceless....!
Nice to hear this kind of improv without the way over used "tremolo switch" or the constant voice adjustments. Just plain old cool and flowing "tight" harmonies. Can I get a lesson???
@nulosounds 1 more person and I'm done Leonard Razor too!!! Good Lawd listen to when he's playing for regular praise and worship service and when the girl is singing "I Won't Complain" He kills beyond measure he's a sleeper for some years too.
my heart literally stopped beating @ 2:13-2:19, word's cannot explain what just happened there, please can I get a breakdown on that, even Kevin looked sick on that part....lol
@Liljdub That's all...you must have just discovered this video...LOL...I may be responsible for a quarter of his universal views...him, Travis Sayles, Corey Henry, Quennel Gaskins, Corey Ling...Please, do yourself a favor and check out Corey Ling (largely undiscovered but not for long)!
@Bigkeegy There is a way...yes there is theory and also feel, but if it is not so natural for you, studying theory and learning (and mastering) the fundamentals can help. Learn the rules so that eventually you know when to break them and/or reinvent them. Also you can take time to learn what they are doing one note at a time. By all means, practice what you don't know already and review shortly what you do. Check my tutorials too...LOL! I teach some of his stuff.
@nulosounds Did you Dare forget to mention Wendell Lowe and Kevin Powell??? or U DON'T KNOW? and that's just the males...how about Trina "Trine" Washington... hear em' and holla back
@MisterMan3OOO Don't get it twisted I know about Kevin Powell and Wendell who played for Rod Parsley. LOL! I likke Trina too if you get a chance put in my homies from Cleveland Phillip K. Jones and Rodney Hubb Hubbard. Put in Phillip K Jones have thine own way then holla back and Jamar Jones.
This is no doubt one of the top 5 organist solos on TH-cam!
one thing that's very clear about Eddie is that when he learns a riff / movement / chord, he learns it in EVERY key!
It's sometimes hard to believe that the music in heaven is infinitely more wonderful than this. Some of the musicians on TH-cam are truly blessed with, what I call, an "effortless gift". You sir are one of them. YAH be praised
No one makes themselves who they are effortlessly what you are seeing is years of practice. Success is never a mistake.

That Eddie Brown is the sickest organ player I've seen yet. He's cold and he knows it.
