- In this video, I’m giving you a tour of my cargo vans as well as showing you how I’m able to afford a second vehicle for my business! By using this Ford Transit Connect, I get to save around $60 dollars per week!! It’s main purpose will be to take over a small contract that I’ve been doing using the bigger van (2001 Ford E350 V8) & the problem is, it chugs too much gas! This smaller cargo van will fix that, saving an accumulative of around $240, I could use that money to pay for itself!!

Hey bro, do your research first. Make sure the demand is there in your area. See what van would be best, look into insurance.
See if you can find local opportunities and see what they require in order to start, it’ll give you an idea.
After I assembled my business, I applied for local contracts so every day I pick up and drop off at the same locations. I don’t do load boards, I just got local contracts.

Good question JC, Yes. Most gig apps tell you the dimensions of the loads prior taking the job. From there you’ll know if you can fit it.

Hey Rodell, some companies allow you to do that as long as the vehicle is under your company’s name and have the right insurance.

Once you do your LLC formation, you’d get corp code. You’ll use that to put any vehicle under your company name.

Those are out of state requirements. If you’re hauling something out of state then yes. I work in NJ & NY which is considered the TriState area (and the TriState is considered local)

Hey Andy! Good question! I’m not sure about the transfer, I don’t wanna give you any misleading info but check with the DMV. On the good side, you don’t need a CDL for this particular business.
