I know this was posted a lil while ago, I just bought some for my Mustang and I’m worried they may not be good, worst case scenario I can sell them right?
Can u cut the sleeve to go lower? So the treaded sleeve and not the spring. Or will the shock blow when cutting the sleeve underneath? I am maxed out on those things but I want to go lower
I don't have max speeding rod coilovers, but the only way you're going lower is likely different coilovers. A company makes drop forks for the front, but nothing for the rear. I'm on skunk2 Pro ST, and even at the highest setting, I can't put one finger between the tire and fender. My header is about 3 to 4" front the ground.
i have yellow one on my mk3 supra. bought them for only purpose to lower the car. They ride kinda bad. Rear is WAYY too stiff even on softest settings and it bounces like crazy, i literally feel like the rear jumps when i cross intersections where the road has tire grooves perpendiculary to how i drive. plus on that, i cant even lower the rear as low as i would like. i couldnt even get the tire to be the same level as rear arch :D
This is definitely NOT an "ultimate" review of anything. No discussion of damping characteristics or comparison between products, seem like you don't even know what your "base model" ones are called. I assume you mean they were the B3 or B2 series, based on the color and the fact they had adjustable damping. But I wonder which ones you looked up for that screenshot of the specs.
Trying to sneak one past us? You might want to read some of the technical articles on MotoIQ regarding suspension design, et al. And, thanks for the link. Well Done, Billy.
The cleans lines of the interior (CRX). IMO, aesthetics were better back in the late 80s and 90s.
And that gearbox xx.
I can only get the base(yellow) ones for my 2003 toyota camry
Don't do it. Get the upgraded ones. They are finally way better built and finally TUV Licensed to work.
Loved the vtech sounds at the beginning!!! #staymad!
👊🤬
Great video Brother, very informative and edited great!!! Well done sir I tip my hat to you!
I have their upgraded turbo on my 02WRX. It's a daily driver, not a race machine. But 18 months later, it's been good.
This is interesting. I've had 5 sets and watched tons of videos on the t7's and never seen them with blue springs.
yeah T7s are supposed to have thicker grey springs with firmer spring rates
T6 is blue sprins, T7 is more focused, stiffer and better for auto cross etc. Color is as you said.

hey how was it?
Better put sum lock sealer on the bolt on top of the coilover. Ive had 2 sets and they both got loose.

Thought about that. I'm pretty sure that that part of the strut is filled with hydraulic gas.

@@Billy_Built true that
@@JSAFIXITthere are drop arms for the rear. 2" drop with no real work.

awesome video!
Thank you 🤗
I need new camber kits. Cuz these just won't sit rite for me
Dude needs to give feedback on the performance of the new rods
There are no rods in this video..
@@Billy_Built Good video but hes right, you never said how they compare after you went through those turns... or at the end
Nice crx
Thanks!
Soooooo what did you think of them????
I like them. For the price you can't really complain
Does it go lower then the 6s? Or the base one u first had
I cant get these to sit rite. Its driving me crazy

Can't slide nothing by you!
I'll go freshen up! thanks!
Luv ys man but just sell that pos to a poor guy n put moar $ into the z ;)
Heard this before🤣 love this car too much
A CRX with a B16 is not a POS. You cannot measure the fun factor of the golden era 80s/90s Hondas. That CRX is only getting more rare. Keep it Billy.
@@rudimerm7686 An average crx can fetch 15k+ in australia, they're gettig rarer and rarer
Me too but they just have no idea, do they? Heheheheheee!!!! @@Billy_Built
Yes, you don’t want to be the guy regretting they sold theirs, like so many on YT comments. @@rudimerm7686
