    From their website: Note it does seem to say they have a pre-arranged special immigration channel, but some poster below said they no longer do that. So be careful before booking and paying. The service below is the electric cart and it says 1250 baht.
    Premium Pick up Service
    ► Arrival
    BFS Premium Airport Service agent meets our guest at the arrival gate with welcome signboard. With or without electric cart, our agent takes the guest to the immigration via special pre-arranged channel and assists them through the process. At the baggage reclaim area, BFS assists our guest through customs and onward to the arrival curbside and to their ground transportation.

    This is called Bangkok flight premium services which you can book on their website. I used this service when I travelled Thailand for the first time. I was so happy and felt comfortable to clear everything so quick. It's very worth it.

  • @KeithBrockwell

    i used them on the way out on the 9th Nov but no buggy fancied a walk after the 14 hour flight, the young lady even waited for me to sort my sim card out at Dtac just to make sure there were no problems, i went to book them on the way back but were full so used another company which was 200 baht more but again well worth it. i flew with Gulf Air for the 1st time and for the price £392 very good indeed and when i landed at Heathrow one of the stewardess gave me a fast track ticket which was brilliant of her, but England being England it took longer to go through fast track than to que up in the normal lane !!!!!!!

    • @NDTViThailand
      @NDTViThailand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They’re definitely worth booking especially when it’s busy.

      Is it still crowded arriving around 10:45pm to 11:00 pm??? I will be coming from a 16 hrs flight. Im so tired by then..and hoping to catch airport rail link around 12:00
      And how much is the sim card? i want to use a data internet service and hows the speed?

    • @NDTViThailand
      @NDTViThailand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve never arrived that late so I don’t know but it is a busy airport, depends on how many flights arrive. As for simcard, which I no longer bother with as everywhere has WiFi, you can get unlimited data for month about $30 / £25 but you have to give all your details like passport etc. Best to get that in Bangkok at one of the many malls. I think True is their most popular.

    • @akosim002080
      @akosim002080 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      NDTVi Thanks... Will not have any checked in baggages so we can easily come in and out because im hoping to catch the airport link. But if not then maybe i will get an uber. I hope traffic would be little less around 12 midnight.

    • @NDTViThailand
      @NDTViThailand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My advice then would be to try and get a seat near to the front on the aircraft and then make a dash to immigration. Also, make sure your immigration card is filled out correctly and do it on the aircraft. Part of the problems for the queues is people leaving these until the last minute. Normal taxi rank is upstairs as you come out go back up the escalator and you’ll find taxi rank and make sure they use a meter. 👍

      NDTVi Pattaya Bangkok Flight Services still do a buggy service or escorted walk to immigration but Priority Immigration is now only available to First or Business class passengers ; this is not a contract matter , it’s rules imposed by the authorities. I find it still worthwhile to avoid the long walk.

  • @gk10002000
    @gk10002000 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    it says only 200 baht for additional passenger which is a good deal. 1000 baht for the premium lounge on departure. I could go for that. If I have a long day and travel from Pattaya, it can be a good 10 hours from the time I wake up to the time I get on the plane and a break and a fresh shower would be nice

    Ok...I guess I should be happy all my flights from the US to BKK have arrived at night.(9:30-12:30pm) I've never have to wait two hours or even one hour. The last 8-10 trips normally average 15-20 minutes to go through immigration, get my luggage, and out the exit. Really it seems like the long ass walk just to get to immigration is the longest part of the whole process. I am a gold member on Star alliance, so my luggage comes out first. I think that saves the most time.

    • @NDTViThailand
      @NDTViThailand  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes many times I’ve got through fast and then had to wait 30 mins for luggage. I think immigration has either got better or less people are coming because since filming this I haven’t had hold ups.

      basically you have 2 choices you can pay for a service where you are met at the gate as you leave the plane someone waits with your name and escorts you through customs helps with cases and takes you to your pick up point.or you can either pay an extra fee for an escort with the buggy (loads quicker) or you can opt for the same but cheaper option and walk escorted to immigration (lot slower) both exactly the same service but extra with buggy

    • @NDTViThailand
      @NDTViThailand  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seedy stuff is certain areas unless you go to those areas, you won’t see them out of Pattaya, even in Bangkok it’s limited to a couple of streets and it’s a huge city, so it’s the same as any other city in the world. It’s a big country and very diverse you won’t see any of it unless you go looking, she’ll love it.
      I fly mainly with Emirates they are the best for me plus you get a little be more leg room. I go from Manchester though if from London I’d probably go direct with Eva myself.

      When I got here a couple weeks ago I came through in business class fast track and if I’m honest, it wasn’t so fast track as I had to wait 20 minutes. Maybe it has gotten too busy and slowing things down? They need to sort out the immigration lanes more importantly because the wait can be long which is not good after a long flight.
