    No desire to interject a negative, but the Passport issue may be of a concern when one is wanting to re-enter the United States. This was a beautiful flowing video and I appreciated every second your sharing so much in such a short time. When your bell rings I pay attention!

    • @lindylund280

      Yes. Passport needs that border stamp to prove you have permission to be there and to prove how long you stayed when you get ready to leave.

      Yeah, Dylan....border patrol agents let people in without anything all the time, however upon return they will be like..."where is your stamp? Where is your vehicle registration permit?"

    I love your videos, they inspire me to want to travel. I'd like to go to Ireland and Oklahoma to see where my family comes from. As for what I'm up to.... I'm taking some time off from work since my dad is coming into town from Texas for a visit. I'm pretty excited about seeing him since I haven't seen him in almost 40 years. We reconnected when my sisters and cousin, that I didn't know existed, found me on FB a couple of years ago. I'm looking forward to your continued adventures in Mexico. 🙂

    Hey Dylan, im doing alright i guess. I still have the Wanderlust Bug to travel all over. I love seeing your videos. they inspire me a great deal to become a better person and look out among this grueling world and see all the adventures that can be had. Keep adventuring! PS. is it alright to call you my friend? With each and every video that comes out i feel i know you better as a person. I think you would be a good friend to me. Maybe one day our paths will cross and we can enjoy a nice conversation.

    On the way in, they usually don't ask for much of anything. But on the way out, you will have more trouble if you don't have the right paperwork. You can still cross back without a passport, it could just take a few hours.

    Dylan, is not hard to cross into Mexico. They love Americans to come down. It's the leaving part lol. And to your lovely companion I will say thank you so much young lady for filming him throwing the heavy cleat. I am older but must admit that is one fine physique. So fine it made me cry with memories of lost loves from younger days. OK back to the video. Ty both.

      I've driven that stretch of road at least as far as your first two episodes at least 50 times. That's a lot of Federale checkpoints. If you are not holding, chill. Nothing ever happens. If you are holding, you'd better be so "deep stashed" that you feel dog proof, then you can chill without profiling. If you'd put a playboy magazine on top of the gloves, you might still have them. I've had a number of girly magazines "stolen" from rig by young troopers who then quickly send me on my way with a smile. The Caveat. Don't leave phones, cameras, belt tools, flashlights, and the like laying on the surface when approaching a 'reten'. When you are asked to leave the car, have one person stay and observe the front inspection, while the other person goes to the rear and carefully watches the inspection. Your Spanish is really limited, if you keep at this you'll get to the point that you want to leave the Soldados laughing (or at least smiling) when you drive away. What do I like best about the videos? The drone follow shots. I know every turn in that road and it was neat to see what I must have looked like on some of my early trips back when I had my van.Thanks for takin' me along.

    Dylan, maybe you can get a sponsorship from Grammar ly. The US border is different from a “boarder” crossing into the country to stay in someone’s home.

    • @littlepotato2741
      @littlepotato2741 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually on the smallest border crossings, they are required to have one official from the capital on the Mexico side. Of course, he must rent a room to support the local economy. So on the smaller crossings, you must cross the border by going through the boarder. Totally true fact. Completely true, trust me.

    Commercial fish farms. Technically you can't travel to baja without a passport but right now the Mexican government has declared baja a free zone so they don't care too much about it but they do check if you go beyond the free zone. Also, you definitely will need a passport to return to the USA or anywhere else.
