Yaya was better than Lampard. People always refer to that one 13-14 season with the 20 league goals but seemingly forget he was at City for 8 years. His tenure at City was crazyyy.
I think it's the other way round. People forget how he wasn't consistently that impressive but because of that ONE incredible season he's now apparently one of the greatest and most amazing players the PL has ever witnessed! Look at that Lampard's numbers and consistency - he blows Yaya out of the water.

Difference between Yaya Toure and Frank Lampard is this: Yaya Toure can play in a Barcelona system when Barca were in their prime. Frank Lampard could not even sniff the starting xi.
