- Three objects are connected on a table as shown in the figure. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block of mass m2 and the table is 0.350. The objects have masses of m1 = 4.00 kg, m2 = 1.00 kg, and m3 = 2.00 kg as shown, and the pulleys are frictionless. (a) Draw a diagram of the forces on each object. (b) Determine the acceleration of each object, including its direction. (c) Determine the tensions in the two cords. (d) If the tabletop were smooth, would the tensions increase, decrease, or remain the same? Explain.
Thank you so much for your explanation!!
Thanks for the excellent video.
Thank you!
bless your heart
This video was so helpful dude
Thank you sir 🙏
youre the best thank you so much
thankks
thanks
Hey, great video! I just don't understand why T1 on m1 and T1 on m2 have the same positive sign. According to Newton III, shouldn't they have opposite signs?
you are a hero

Thaaaannkkssss ❤️❤️
please Sir tell me where this exercise come from like what is the name of the books that you take from exercises and thank you

Why they have the same acceleration?
Because the two tensions depend only on the weight of the two blocks. The blocks are moving due to the gravitational forces acting on them, otherwise the tension is stationary.
Proof why they have the same acceleration
