  • Gautam Sachdeva, author of 'The End of Separation,’ talks about silence being a natural state with some people. He also touches upon what sages and masters have to say on the subject.
Gautam Sachdeva speaks and writes on the subject of Advaita (non-duality). He writes with a specific focus on peace of mind in daily living. He spent over nine years in close association with renowned Advaita sage Ramesh Balsekar, assisting him with the editing and publishing of some of his books. Ramesh’s guru was Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, whose famed book I Am That is considered a modern spiritual classic. With the blessings of Ramesh, Gautam went on to write books based on his experience with the teaching. He also shares his experiential understanding of Advaita during talks with groups of like-minded people, with the specific focus of ‘peace of mind in daily living’.
Gautam is also the founder of Yogi Impressions, a publishing house that is at the forefront of publishing books on spirituality and personal growth. Yogi Impressions publish books across categories such as non-duality, kundalini, religion, mythology, paranormal, tarot, biography, mental health, parenting, health and wellness. Some of the authors and spiritual masters published include Alan Jacobs, Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Joseph Campbell, Mooji, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Peter Russell, Rainer Maria Rilke, Rajini Menon, Ramana Maharshi, Ramesh S. Balsekar, Robert Adams, Santosh Sachdeva, Tony Parsons. Visit yogiimpression...

Thank you so much Gautam. I was and am called a snob for being quiet. It used to hurt earlier, now it does not :-). God makes them say so and God made me quiet. What to do? :-)

Thank you for this! I live in the West, which overvalues chatter and talking. The more one talks, the more "interesting" they appear. I've been naturally quiet my whole life, so this has been very refreshing. Thank You!!

Me too. Silence really does terrify people because only in the silence do you really hear yourself.

"Be Still And Know I Am Existence~Awareness". This is a potent Identity Mantra used in Vedanta - Jnana-Yoga - Self~Inquiry. Sometimes people don't know that "God" is a proxy for our *Impersonal Existence~Awareness*
