Did i understand correctly - there are two plugs - drain and fill - for front differential in GLK 350 4matic? I thought only 1 plug (drain) for the front. Thank you.
you have the drain and the fill, but always be sure you can access the fill plug first, once the fill is accessible then you can take out the drain, it is a precaution measure.
4matic and rear wheel use oil, unless if its electronics, all mechanical ones needs oil for lubrication. yes the rear has a drain plug and much more easier to change .

You need 1.1 liters , no half bottle.. those bottles are 1 liters, you need 1 bottle and 100 ml

I wasn't aware that this needed to be done not in the scheduled service manual for a 2012? Is there also a rear differential to drain and fill?
