NO ruins but also SUKHOTHAI - Wat Pipat Mongkol

This temple complex is also located in Sukhothai! It looks brand new and there is still a lot of construction going on. When we arrived it almost felt like we were visiting The Grand Palace. Luckily there were hardly any tourists here :-) It's completely different than you would expect in Sukhothai, but definitely worth a visit!
Wat Phiphat Mongkhon supposedly was a royal temple established in the Vien Mok era (around 1129 A.D.)Wat Phiphat Mongkhon is located at 464 Moo 9, Baan Ta Chom, Tambon Tung Saleam, Amphoe Tung Saleam, SukhoThai. It is one of the important temples in Sukhothai and was constructed on the old temple's area.
