WTF? Second marathon and 2:49? LOL, amazing! What's your fitness background, though?

Thanks Moojeni. I've been running since high school, focused on track middle distance for many years 1500m but drifted away from that a few years back. Started to clock some long miles around October last year on the trails out here and got hooked, did my first marathon last December, managed a 2.48 there. Still figuring it out as a race it's a lot different to 1500m racing. Vegan diet has definitely been the best training tool I've had. Do you run?

Yeah, I do run, but comparing to you I'm a snail, lol!
I've been running for about 3 years now, but before that I had never been a runner. I used to lift weights and did so for about 5 years.
I ran my first full marathon at the beginning of this year and managed to do 3 hours 36 minutes on a flat course. Then I ran 2 more marathons in the following two months and did 3:41 and 3:55 respectively (the last one was very hilly).
I'm on Strava , if you want you can follow me here: www.strava.com/athletes/3406935
      Cheers!

Speed isn't everything, it's all about just getting out there, moving and enjoying the world. Happy running!

+Harry Runs and she goes with you to every race event? That's pretty cool. So both of you are living in Thailand?

+Harry Runs also what does she do while you are running the marathon, Must be boring sitting there by herself for 3 hours

Not quite every event but as much as possible. Yep both living out here, she's very supportive and a big part of Harry Runs, there's usually a lot going on at races but yes not always the most fun while I'm off running for 3 hours.
