It's great that you and your machine are making friends. I'm a flatbed machine knitter and the learning curve on any knitting machines is huge. Your socks look amazing.
Fantastic job!!! I am impressed that you decided to pull the machine apart and learn the "why". Crafting is definitely a journey. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡
As someone who's hand knit socks for > 20 years, I'm in deep awe and admiration of your mastery of the kitchener stitch! I have such a fear and loathing of it, I knit all my socks toe up!
You should look at the Finchley Graft! I have not tried it yet, but I intend to on the sock I’m currently working on. It seems like it might be easier?
It’s so amazing to hear your progress with this machine! I love what you’ve made so far. Just a heads up Ghoul Squad, Hershnerr’s Halloween Sparkle is back in stock!!!!!!!🎃🎃🎃🎃❤️
I am so happy to see you making a video of your journey so far.I saw your original one where you were showing us what you bought. You really inspired me to get a machine. I am waiting for it to be delivered! I am so proud of you for not giving up and to keep trying- it is all paying off! Can’t wait to see your next video on your sock machine!😀🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Im currently learning to knit and just finished making my first pair of socks. Knowing what i know about socks now, its amazing that it can be done on a machine! This is such a cool tool to have, even if i dont have one i look forward to seeing you make socks after socks on it!
That is so exciting! I have a ton (almost literally) of sock yarn and am thinking of getting a machine. Your videos are so helpful, I may actually order one. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Yeah!!! It’s wild how quick everything in sock weight yarn can be worked up on this machine. Thanks for joining along and just wait till ya see the leg warmers🎃🦇🎃
Love your videos as always and love that nightmare before Christmas shirt I have that shirt too from Spencer’s I gotta wear my soon definitely one of my top favorite TH-camrs 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Just wondering how you’re doing your Kitchener stitch, because it is usually done from the outside of the sock and should not leave any kind of ridge like I think I might have seen on your socks.
Good info for why it jams when doing heels. I have a metal antique csm. Can you please measure one of your cylinders for outer diameter measurement? I want to order D&B ones since they are more affordable. Tia
I have quite a few different cylinders for my machine. Their website has a measurement page for the size of socks you're looking to make. Definitely check that out to see all the available sizes🎃

so technically instead of doing laundry you could knit a new pair of socks everyday....
I am so proud of you! You have persisted where a lot of people would have given up.
Thank you! It’s been a journey but it’s becoming easier every day I practice🎃

Kitchener stitch is actually maybe my fave part of making socks, maybe it’s because it means I’m finished and can cast on a new sock!

Are you going to the 2024 yarn shop hop? Do you know when it is?

You make me feel like I could do this. Now I just need to save up the money for one lol
