Thank you for doing this series, it's fantastic! The technical ones but also those more personal ones too! You asked for our hobbies; photography is the one that I do for the longest time :)
I really was waiting for this next episode and you didn't disappoint. Again, great episode. What cool drawings and prints you guys have! Hobby here is gaming (call of duty), cycling and 3d modelling.
28:22 I'm going to paraphrase and expand on a line from Hank Green's "A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor." You are being tremendously productive when all you produce is joy for yourself and the ones you love.
Have to say, Scott especially in 2024 had a super talent for setting up new series for like-minded peers. Each part of this one together with Mark is so joyful but also the technical C# deep dives together with the absolutely fantastic Stephen Toub are killer!! Thanks so much for taking yours and other great peoples time to dig out interesting topics together! Thumbs up, keep on and stay safe!!
Love the Star Wars stuff. I draw, paint and try to learn new techniques for fun. Sprinkle some activities like mountain biking. My 9 to 5 is software engineering and DevOps related tasks. Great video 👍
And I thought Mark, was going to mention his writing. After all he has written a couple of novels. I am retired, and don't do too much outside of writing little Unity/Unreal computer games, modelling 3D in Blender, playing a few games. Also trying to understand Machine Learning Algorithms, and attempting understand squeeze and unsqueeze tensor dimension operations in PyTorch. But I make the effort to go out for a Walk or Jog every day and I do enjoy being out Gardening in the Spring Summer.
I would like to get into 3D printing at one point. I already looked at the printer that Scott recommends. My intent is to build retro-futuristic cases for SBC computers. Not cyberdecks but real usable computers with a cool design.... and then to have an expo at a local museum. First computer will be CoralMicro.
Me thinking a "hobby" is just collecting cards… Meanwhile, these guys’ hobbies are full-blown professions in art, design, and engineering. Oh, and by the way, they still managed to rack up mad hours in video games?!? 🤯 What am I doing with my life?! 😂
3D printing is my hobby. I have yet to make any Star Wars props or droids. Very disappointed in myself for that. I think it will come once I can get my office looking more like yours. Getting it electronics, LEDs, and home automation as well.
just found a new hobby in 2025: listening to podcasts about C# and .NET technology I didn't know how many unknown unknowns I had all this time Time to get deep.
Well well well, marc is one of us, normos and Scott coming in clutch with steam deck. I can stop feeling guilty about my 30 to 1 hour mins. I'm so going to commit to half life alyx,I got it when it came out and still not played it. I didn't have a powerful enough GPU. Now I got something capable
Scott's office is what my office looks like ... and Mark's office is what my wife wishes my office looked like :D

Awesome to see other sides of you :) Great video again, thx !
It is amazing how you two guys are able to do so many things. Congrats man!!
The straight faced "did you design dresses in highschool?" question was so matter of fact, that it totally caught me off guard.

Mark draw a church located in the center of my home town, how cool
If you did a face morph from Christopher Reeves to Keanu Reeves, I'm sure Mark would appear as one of the intermediate steps
Which model glasses were those? Thanks for the episode!
What is that display in Scott's office near the door (next to first light saber). the red light in display keeps on moving.
