I'm doing a challenge on StoryGraph to read more backlist books (which overlaps nicely with my goal of reading books I already own). also and I might be misremembering but I think it was you who did a "fix my netgalley score" reading vlog once upon a time? would love to see another one of those!
Hey Mina - been following you since 2020 and I'm excited to see your reading wrap-ups this year!! You were super helpful I got back into reading because you gave me so many great romance recs.
I feel the same way about the expanse series, the tv show is great, but the books are just okay. So far the best one I have read is nemesis games, for me it has to do with the isolated plots of each book. i want to see the crew! and it's awesome that storygraph allows you to make challenges, i will definitely be doing that. I also have a goal to read 10 classics this year so I'm excited to see which ones you pick up and recommend!!
My goal is to read over 25 books and read around 10,000 pages. Hoping that this reading year is better cause I felt like last year was sort of mid but half of it was cause I read books/series I really should have DNFed
My reading goals this year are to switch over to storygraph, read more cozy mysteries, finish some series, and to read four classics. (One for each season. Currently, I've finished Gatsby for winter, and have Hamlet planned for Spring, Anna Karenina for summer (!!) and Dracula for fall. 🖤 Rn I'm also planning to go hard into romance for February.
Hi! i also read more fanfiction than books in 2024 😂😂 this year i want to read more things that i love bc last year was mid for me which put me in a slump sending lots of love!! 💚💚
when i exported a few image frames dropped from the middle of the vid so pretend you don't notice babes, love you, see you, byeee.

It was me omg you have a fabulous memory friend!
Good on you for conquering The Vegetarian. I would have dropped it. I can’t hang with books that I don’t vibe with.
I’m a big believer in DNFs typically but I just kept hoping with that one that it would get better ❤️🩹
Good luck on your goals this year Mina!
I wanted to start a Bookstagram this year, and I even made a spreadsheet for my stats. Unfortunately, making the graphics bores me looool. 📚
I also had my worst reading in July and my best in August lol- something in the air I guess

I stuck with The Wishtress by Nadine Brandies just like you did The Vegetarian. It should be a criminal offense the level of boring The Wishtress is!!
