I was never taught how to date “successfully” coming from a single mother household I was taught that men are “bad” and we have to be independent. Being independent is important yes, but I never learned how to properly get into dating. I rushed a lot of relationships that way, and all of them ended badly.

I agree with not breaking the bank on the first date because that’s irresponsible, but I believe that dates should be well thought out and planned with a considerable amount of effort. Park dates, ice creams dates are just too simple and don’t require much thought and I think people are worth more than that. It just shows respect for the other persons time too.

Yeah I think it just depends on the girl. It’s interesting for a long time I would say I was that girl that always wrote back right away and told the guy everything but now I’ve noticed that I’ve become the complete opposite because I’ve reached that point that you talked about at the beginning of the video of just being discouraged and not excited about the prospects. I find myself responding sometimes a day later, not on purpose but because dating is the last thing on my mind. I usually have so much work to do running my own businesses that I get caught up in work and second, I’m so much more closed off now to the point that guys I date aren’t sure they really know me because I keep so much of how I feel to myself. Focus on education, hobbies, join organizations of your interest and other things of your personal interest. Don't allow anyone to make you think having that mindset is bad, it's not.

I watched this video after talking to a guy for a few weeks and not being sure of where we were going...and literally the very next day, I used all the tips in the video to confidently have the big talk with the guy..... found out he was only looking for FWB, not a relationship! I had no idea of that before and he'dnever told me, because we'd never talked about it! We were going on nice dates, but never really talking and learning each other. Glad I watched this and was able to apply the tips, and save my time/emotions for someone serious.... it hurts ALOT! So many guys I've met didn't even bother to buy meals, charm me etc. The only reason for that was because nowdays the majority of girls sell themselves so cheap too soon. I am curently in a relationship with a guy who I was talking to for 2 whole years and 2 months in our relationship he told me he wouldn't validate me the way he does now if I went out with him the first few times he asked me out. Oh hun, I wish I could go back in time and be 16 again and had this mindset. Don't feel ashame of it at all. Value yourself. Focus on education, hobbies, join organizations of your interest and other things of your personal interest. Don't allow anyone to make you think having that mindset is bad, it's not.

I watched this video after talking to a guy for a few weeks and not being sure of where we were going...and literally the very next day, I used all the tips in the video to confidently have the big talk with the guy..... found out he was only looking for FWB, not a relationship! I had no idea of that before and he'dnever told me, because we'd never talked about it! We were going on nice dates, but never really talking and learning each other. Glad I watched this and was able to apply the tips, and save my time/emotions for someone serious.... it hurts ALOT! Because I really liked this guy, but I would've been more hurt if I'd given him the kitty and found out later he was playing me. I will use this video to guide me in the future!

So many guys I've met didn't even bother to buy meals, charm me etc. The only reason for that was because nowdays the majority of girls sell themselves so cheap too soon. I am curently in a relationship with a guy who I was talking to for 2 whole years and 2 months in our relationship he told me he wouldn't validate me the way he does now if I went out with him the first few times he asked me out. I felt so high about myself and that boosted my confidence to a whole another level because I wasn't seeing myself as a prise until he told me that. I am so grateful for him now and the way he respects me as a woman and as a person as well.
