    I firmly believe that Good Will Hunting is a must watch film for every growing teenager and young adult, the whole message behind the film is almost necessary for a person of such age who are dealing and often struggling with those questions

      I would say any age or for anyone feeling a bit lost

      I'm 26 years old and just watched it for the first time tonight. I don't think that there are enough words to explain how much it truly struck a chord in me.

    Currently the advice I need! For months, I've been thinking to move into a new city after graduation for job search. I'm actually a very anxious person and the comfort that I get for the past 4 years make it hard for me to leave everything behind. But your video seems to shine a light to really take a step forward!
    Thank you so much!~

    Thank you, I misunderstood this movie. I thought it was supposed to appeal to the general audience with the message that "education and abilities is not everything and status doesn't matter"
    I agree with Chuckie and the Professor since you should utilize your abilities to the fullest and earn your success, doesn't matter if your primary goal is to be rich and famous or to make a change in the world. I hated Will's and Sean's perspective simply because it's unrealistic. In the real world you WILL regret not getting education and gaining success. While Will hates the idea of doing long divisions all day, I hate the idea of leading a carefree life drinking with my friends and wasting potential. And I think in the ending he is actually wasting his potential, but it is what he wants to do and that's what matters
    While I may not go talk to a girl(because I'm socially awkward) I will pursue my passion in Chemistry even though that's not what the people around me want me to do

    • @filmisjustmovingpictures
      @filmisjustmovingpictures  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good luck with pursuing your passion!

      I've been there. But I think you missed something. He can has a great job and perfect career when he just wants. Well, because he is a genius, right? But we cant find great people around us every damn time we want. Which is even harder then ever as in days. So when we find them we must have that opportunity to get shot. So in my perspective Will found the girl, and they tried. Doesnt matter did they married, broke up or had a child or something. The matter is that they tried. And in Will's future, Will had a job which he can make money and legacy. In the movie, the reason that makes Will wastes his potential was the fear of abondenment and his attachment styles. In the final Will stepped up and fought with it. So kind of you might think he won. Because he fought with core cnot. In the other senario Will could've had that job and start from zero and lone life. But he wouldnt be ready from inside. And that might drived him depressive, alone, living without a purpose. And he could've easily lose. So he got the girl and they tried. Will handled some issues of his inside. And found purpose of his life; found a job that can uses his potential .

      Propably not.He was so lucky to be cured because the propability of him meeting sean (the only person that was ever able to "fix" him) was really unlikely to happen but it so did and that lead to this perfect story.Though the personna if will is a really extreme one.People dont usually need all of this to feel safe but it is a perfect example.Every detail of the movie represents an idea

      @@warrior5534 what do you mean? Wills friends probably had gifts but they were poor and no one cared to get them therapy. I just wonder if the movie was written about regular people who go to state school, would anyone watch it?

    While the narrative itself is commendable, the crude humor interspersed throughout detracts significantly from its merit, ultimately leaving an unpleasant aftertaste.
