It doesn't comes up often but landed vikings beat stalkers. They kill stalkers 1.5x faster than stalkers kill vikings. But also they're 1.5x more expensive in gas (only 1.2x in minerals), and they can't outrun stalkers unless by flying over a dead space. Which is why you don't build vikings to fight stalkers, but if you already have them then they're pretty good.

Carriers are so crap in Sc2. Vs terran they get one shot by viking clumps, and vs zerg corrupters do the same thing. I see people lose going carriers 10 times more than I see them win
Is like Artosis said, current top level Protoss are aggrssive mid game players like Parting and Hero and the defensive macro Protosses have dissappeared such as Stats and Rain: what we are seeing here is the return of defensive protoss. Exciting.
