He is the teacher that I come back to over and over again. He always has my answer at the beginning of a new layer of deepening, shedding, healing and releasing. 🙏🙏🙏 Deeply grateful ❤
I really appreciated this Thank you What I found subtle and vital was beneath the grief the love I found that much of my pain was loving deeply those who didn’t have the capacity to show or express in return and the grief of that sense of rejection. The young mind couldn’t understand This description was so helpful and healing in the directed reconnection and understanding A new way of feeling it through and acknowledgement Blessings
I have always intuited that connecting with just how much we actually care will break our hearts but denying this care is even more painful. Life willing, I'll take the heartbreak.
just switch the sides of headphones when you listen to it next time (weird, when I wrote this, I cried like a baby because of my breakup, but still somehow tried to retain the joking part in me)
Adya has really matured as a teacher over the last 20 years to embrace all forms of suffering that he sees and the complexity of his various students' issues. Wonderful.
valar I agree. Before when asked about healing he may have said something along the lines of “see that there is nothing to heal from..”good observation valar
Some healers are so powerful that they can break through even very strong resistance to put you in touch with the compassion within yourself, and then you can proceed from there. Or they can keep the channel open within you when you alone cannot. Still, Adya's fundamental point is true. You must touch the compassion within yourself one way or another to truly heal.
We all seem to project ower own thought of believe in god. Alot of grief goes along with this, seperation of ower identity heaven grief,s for ower return. Home.
I agree, I don’t think it’s Common sense at all. I actually think it goes against common sense and what your natural intuition is to solve a problem. Just to clarify, I fully agree with him and think it’s a wonderful talk.
If you touch on the root, the grief, it can still prevent healing. It can in fact intensify your suffering. Only if the changes in you caused by touching the root are received by the environment can you heal. Adya says healing comes from within, but you are still in a world and interacting with it and the world interacting with you. If touching the root enables you to heal, it is because it was the last missing condition for succeeding in that. For others, going that deep may lead to suicide, because it was not a good time to change that much. A loving person among a hundred hateful people will automatically be in resistance, actually them in resistance to that loving person. Applying no force at all can be perceived as an exploitable vulnerability. And in such a situation, rage can be the most natural and necessary feedback. Even if you touch deeper, it is still a good/necessary thing happening. It is karmic. It is empathy urging people that without it we are all doomed. Tough love. Stop donating food to a beggar monk and keep them from finding a job and see for how long they manage to maintain their serenity.
Thanks Jouseph, please could you let me know where I can find the rest of this clip? It was beautiful and helpful, got me clarity on the source of many negative aspects of my feelings. I see my intuitive need to grieve has been critical for healing. Do keep posting more gems as and when you discover them :) and when you can let me know where I may find the rest. All the best.
Can u please email me this audio clip....i m going through this phase right now and dont have enough money to buy this audio...this would be a great help and i will always be grateful to you. Thank you

Mahalo Adya for your love and compassion.

He is talking about the dark night of the soul, it happens before or during a spiritual awakening....Thank you for the information Namaste !!!❤
Not necessarily. He is talking about healing. The Dark Night may be a part of the healing process, but these are not the same.
This is 100 per cent right : but i cannot access the grief and love
Almost be forgiven but there are no shortcuts. The pain and the grief must be felt and gone through.
Sooo good 🙏
Common sense. Simple. Thanks
It is wisdom actually. This understanding is not common sense for most people. Look at the world! Perhaps you are just naturally wise. Good for you!

You cannot heal if you are unwilling to feel the pain. The pain stands between you and freedom.
HIS OPIONS ARE HIS OBSERVATIONS ON HOW he perceives life! But every one has there own ideas on life. BUT as there is always a but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
