Just go on playing USA. I love watching new faces. Gaining more experienced will enhance you to maturity. All new players experienced losing. Congrats to Bulgaria, I can see new young faces either like Nikolov, a setter and his companion from U18 and U21 Bulgarian volleyball team. Very good match.

But after seeing many people commenting a lot of encouraging messages, (on the other videos)
full of support and positive energy, I had to give in.
American people positivity, constant motivation to push thru even at hard times

Thats nice as long as you don’t mix up being disappointed with hate wagon; there’s a difference. Its okay to be disappointed. In the US there is this cookie cutter mentality where participating is goos enough. These are athletes and the pressure of results is not going to go away.

Usa team A is very very old (micah 31,anderson 37, russell 31,Averill 32, Smith 39, Shoji 35, the only not old is Tj 27) Usa needs to find new young players....
I agree,but this players won't replace them in the first string neither in 5 years and last but not least this usa roster has an average years of age of 27/28 so where are usa younger players?! Are they in college maybe?!
Paris Olympics 2024 will be the last Olympics for everyone except TJ DeFalco. But the next players in line for Olympics 2028 will be a bunch of young players. USA is doomed.
Oh my gosh, yeah that is why the A team did so bad in VNL 2023, give it a rest already. yes everyone retires at some point.

I think this was kinda the best match for USA. The game changer was the setter when he came in everything was enjoyable, a very happy game. The other setter is good with experienced players because they can make solutions in seconds.

The USA team has to find out another setter. Tuniga number 16 is not consistent; one good and another bad. Urgent to find out at least 3 more setters. But, today, the team played much better.

The big problem of young Usa team is their chemistry and floor defence are not establish.
First, the US has already qualified for the Olympics, hence is keeping its A team for that. The team here is young and hopefully will improve a lot from this VNL, however, it seems unlikely they will make it out of pool play. Let's hope the Olympics goes much better!

I understand that this is not the main squad for the US and happy that they are getting the experience, however, I hoped that they could get wins over weaker teams as they might as well be showing what they got as players in the future and what the US future vb state is. I'm excited to see the main guys in Ottawa and Ph, Go USA!
We will see if first string players and John Sperraw with his team will take part to the second vnl week,I'm not sure and even confident about it but let's see in which sense decisions will go...
@@aldotafuto I'm pretty sure they will be back for the 2nd week based on volleyball source channel and Shoji actually confirmed it on his socials that the main guys just decided to rest and practice for the first week but they will be back at Ottawa and forward

What happened with Men's US Volleyball team?
National inexperience is what hurting Team USA. Another option is to put the team that just won NCAA volleyball tournament into the international spotlight. What they lack in international experience they make up in team chemistry
That's why a volleyball league is needed to start. Europe, Asia, S.America even Africa has their own league, except USA. These are a bunch of NCAA players thrown into a battle overseas and they look like a fish out of water.
@@PuffOfSmokeAmen! And to think that a lot of these young men are coming straight from the NCAA and not the federation's own volleyball program tells me that this was set to lose.
@@unclestan they used to have one in the past, but it's short lived because no one's watching. I heard they're forming a new one. Let's wait and see.
Coach should have give more chances to younger guys in past couple of years instead of just grinding down same 6-8 guys for a decade.

Some good news USA just got bear turkiye 3-1 what a great comeback from USA
After Paris 2024, the US players who are probably retiring from the National team are Smith, Holt, Anderson and Muagatutia. As they are already 39,37,37 and 35 respectively. Idk with Shoji, he's already 34y/o, but I think he will still probably play in LA2028. And this Week 1 roster, In my honest opinion, after watching their full games against Poland, France and Bulgaria, the only players that can be their replacements are Hanes, Garcia, Gasman and Dagostino. Idk with Mason Briggs, I know he was decent in the NCAA, but he hasn't played in the VNL yet, so I don't know what he's capable of yet against these strong teams. The rest can just go stay in their houses and just watch volleyball on tv. Lastly, My gosh, Tuaniga and the Head Coach are doing horrible.
Exactly. Tuniga and the head coach have to find out another sport because volleyball is not for them.
Totally agree with you and I would add to the list of possible replacements Ewert who played decent in the last three games despite some errors.Last but not least Francesco Sani Who played as OH for under 21 USA national team and played for Verona the whole season , he's been given Italian nationality and not us one by FIVB.That's definitely a pity cause USA Need a 20/21 years old OH with European experience and I'm surprised USA federation hasn't said anything at all
@@aldotafuto But anyways, we have tall Outside hitters in the U19 & U21. The likes of Cole Hartke 7'0 and Grant Lamoureux 6'10

USA needs to see how Italy finally find their young generation that have been so strong. USA always rely on their veterans.

usa's B team is currently representing, in week 2 their A team will be coming in to play. The A team wanted to spend more time conditioning and practicing so they decided to send the B team. Which isn't a bad idea because pretty soon these guys will be representing us

If the veterans like Max, Dave, Matt, Micah, Erik are retired from the national team, I dont think USA would be as strong as when the veterans still play. They really need to find some good young players other than TJ. USA have really relied on the veterans.

No subestiman solo le dan más importancia a los Juegos Olímpicos, y este torneo para ninguna selección es importante, claro las primeras semanas no le dan importancia pero luego ya si vienen los tops

Este torneo determina los últimos cupos a Paris y además el ranking mundial, que determina las 3 llaves que se jugarán. Claramente fue una mala jugada pensar que podrían ganar algún partido

Here I am. This is expected - Speraw sent B and mostly C players to first week VNL. The whole roster doesn't have one good A player. And even the head coach himself didn't show up. Some of these players represent national team for the first time, don't have any international experience and haven't played together. USA has already qualified for Paris games and the team doesn't need to risk injuries for top players in commercial tournament.
