Drive through penalty was due to you being host of lobby. The bug with vsc ending only works if you are not the host.

I think it's due to the ping maybe?
Maybe if you're not the host, you have a ping/latency and the game knows that players have that, and they allow some margin for non-host players?
40.5 All competing cars must reduce speed and stay above the minimum time set by the FIA ECU at least once in each marshalling sector and at both the first and second safety car lines (a marshalling sector is defined as the section of track between each of the FIA light panels).
All cars must also be above this minimum time when the FIA light panels change to green

At 2:58 you can see on the minimap that the Racing point literally stops on the track and rams into the williams

I went to the end and the part with the laggy guy was one of the best content you published so far on youtube.
19:17. I think what happened was that your front tyre hit the merc's rear tyre, causing the merc to put him self in the wall
My first thought was that this was a 200% 600+ kms race. So 20 cars, 40 drivers. The 2nd driver of each car would be a reserve or test driver who would have to complete at least a quarter of the race. There would be one mandatory fuel stop and probably two other tire stops. The race distance would be just under 3 hours. Obviously f1 cars are designed to race for 300+ kms but it would make for an interesting dynamic as a one or two off option during the season.

I had a similar scenario in career mode where I switched to mediums after the rain stopped and the AI used 2 sets of softs and they were miles faster.

Also they're using 2 different tire compounds so they can't use the same strategies for back to back races.
I mean they don't have the same types of compounds per race weekend if you're wondering what I meant.

Every year I play the new f1 game n I do all my races on 100 percent laps. Its time consuming but so much more fun.

For a tip if you don’t want to go through the effort to mute everyone in the lobby create your own party and make sure that party chat audio is authorized rather than game chat.

@Tiametmarduk Ben I get the stutters too. The best way to avoid it is when you start the game check the fps (have a monitor in steam or fraps.) If they are limited to 60 you need to restart the game. If that doesn't work start the game with a different direct x. I don't know how to fix it but there is a way to tell if you're gonna get the stutters or not.
