- Hi :) I got a request to make this tutorial where I show how to make an offset name decal using Cricut design space. In this video we go over step by step on how to create the name with the offset using the built in off set feature on Cricut design space. I also show you how to perfectly layer it using parchment paper. I cut out my decal using my @cricut explore air 2.

Thank you so much! I was able to do the letter as I needed! The parchment paper is a genius idea! Thanks for the tip also!! I do have one question, what can I apply on top of the letters so they can stay glued to the surface?? I am using a glitter cardstock and the letters are wanting to come off after transferring! How did you cut the rainbow so the Melissa was a filled text ? Not the outline
at the end ,if i put this on vinyl sticker sheet, how do i "die cut" it out?

When you hit make it, we’re the cute in the same mat or did you use two different mats for the shadow and the name?
That’s what I was wondering as well
You can do it on the same mat but you would have to change the color of both to be the same color when designing it. And then hit make it. Then place the different color vinyl on the same mat making sure you place each vinyl color in the corresponding area for both cuta

Melissa, I forgot to ask. Can the same steps be used when doing HTV?
Yes definitely! Since htv is to iron on clothing be sure to mirror the image before cutting. It can definitely be layered
Can you use this technique to cut out HTV also?
You can but htv is to iron on clothing . Also you would have to mirror the image when using htv but it can definitely be layered
