‘Intensification of violence’ along Israel-Lebanon border • FRANCE 24 English

Israel and neighbouring Lebanon are stepping up exchanges of cross-border fire with Hezbollah firing rockets at northern Israel early Sunday and Israel responding with air strikes targeting the Iran-backed militant group. While most of Hezbollah’s rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome, some of the missiles hit Israeli military facilities in Haifa including the Ramat David Airbase and defence technology company - Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, FRANCE 24’s James André said, reporting from Beirut.
