The front, right seat is my favorite on this ride! It's way intense but way fun! The view from the top is awesome. Rode this at night on the Fourth of July and there were fireworks as far as I could see mixed in with Tampa's city lights... It was breathtakingly beautiful. Going up the lift hill, I'm always holding on for dear life to my seat but as soon as I hear the ride release I put my hands up :D
I got on this today and I can tell you, this ride is totally worth the anticipation. The steep pull uphill really makes you feel like your throat is coming out your mouth but maybe that's because it was my first time and I was nervous. I had closed my eyes when I could see the city of Tampa and then I opened them again when the ride was facing at a 90 degree angle. I never thought to see the day that I would ride Sheikra but looks like that changed today. After the first drop the ride isn't as bad. You'll be wanting to get on more than once afterwards.
Went on this one for the first time today. I must say that they got this one right! This is the first coaster since my first one over a decade ago that I've screamed from being afraid on :D
Went on this twice in a row because there was like no one there and ended up spending 1.5 hours in the first aid room felling sick hahaha awesome ride I love it
Best coaster there..love how it's one whole car and doesn't matter where you sit because it goes the same speed not that big of a drop when you ride it
+Zoey Anderson that's not what they meant. They were implying that even tho they weren't riding it they still felt the feeling of being scared just watching.
Busch Gardens is the best! They make good quality rides ( like Disney ) and they NEVER have accidents. Except for that tree thing but they can't help that and can't predict it.
Sheikra isn't that bad at all, The WORSE thing about it is the anticipation before you get on it. Once you're on it its quite enjoyable. Honestly I believe the launch for "Aerosmith" is tougher than Sheikra's drop.
That's pretty high up there befrore the drop! But I still like how Oblivion and Baron 1898 have you plunging straight in to a black pit rather than it being open at the bottom of the drop.
@AceBriggs6 Correction: There is only that chance of being "misted" on Griffon, where the final stretch of track goes right over the water troughs. As seen in the video, there is no track going over Sheikra's splash zone, therefore, no chance of getting wet.
I went there last week andi promised myself to ride this and other tall roller coasters. Im 12 and only 4ft. At first they cancelled it cuz it was raining but then it opened again and the line was very quick. Me and my dad sat on the front! It was super fun and enjoyable! I recommend this ride :)
I hate how the ride looks like crap on camera but it's smooth and the half loop is cool because you dip under another piece of track and it look and feels cool. And the second drop is really cool you see all those people and the water then WOOSH and your underground. And there is the famous roar that follows you. It's funny standing watching people get soaked from the ride and watching the people and then it's MY turn. Yeah you get the idea THIS RIDE IS AMAZING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH
I went to Williamsburg a few weeks ago and got on Griffon without noticing it was the EXACT SAME as Sheikra! Now that I know how Sheikra pretty much is, I can get on it no problem!!! :DDD
This ride is so much fun! The front row edge seats are the best, and it's actually not that bad once your on it. But every time I ride it I always get the edge seat all the way to the left in the front row and when the train makes the dip out of the station my feet ALWAYS hit the bushes... curse my tallness. :P
ugh... super jealous. thats the ONLY ride i havent been on yet in busch gardens... we were rained out, so we didnt hav time! But my heart was racing jst watching this lol
@YEE941 Actually, if you're really lucky and some of the spray is still in the air, you could possibly feel a bit of mist. Soaked, no. Just cooled off.
All the way from the UK to ride this yesterday and it broken down. Montu was also closed. Not a happy person!! Was so looking forward to riding the 3 big B&M coasters here. Only got to ride Kumba.
This was awesome. Never forget, at the top seen the sunset and at de stop looking down seen strength the other Ride Tower (Falcon Fury). Was amazing. Went on this starting January.
I went to busch gardens for a field trip last year, and I knew I would get wet under the splash zone, but I got absolutely DRENCHED, it was so fun :D (I didn't ride sheikra btw) I hope I can go again next year!
Loops are okay once you ride on coasters that invert more once. If you can withstand those than you okay most rides. Don't feel uncomfortable, mast amusement parks try to give you a feeling of discomfort on inverting ride. Anyway, that is a feature of a thrill. It seems you have been thrilled. I reccomend (sorry for the spelling) you try some simpler looping coasters and then try rides like Sheikra. At Busch Gardens try Cheetah Hunt or Scorpion. If u do dose do Sheikra. If u cn do dose do Montu.
Going to busch gardens tommorow so excited but at the same time I'm really nervous. This is good because if I am nervous a few days before I go to the park I will not be nervous when I get to the park so I will not chicken out on any of the coasters but if I am not nervous a few days before I go to the park when I get to the park I will be so nervous that I chicken out on all the rides. This happened to me at seaworld
@YEE941 Yeah, as I seem to recall, Sheikra stopped topped out at 200 ft, whereas Griffon wins at 205. Small difference, yes, but still, its a difference.
I went on this yesterday and the drop felt like it lasted forever . 😂 Scariest drop ever but the adrenaline it gives you is insane. I would definitely ride this again. 👍🏽
LOL @ 1:39 "uh oh." This ride isn't that bad. The anticipation and anxiety is before the ride but the anxiety is on the ride (at least on the 4 second stop overlooking Tampa Bay and more). And I did go on it twice. This was my first roller coaster. And then...I went on Montu. I'll gladly take this over Montu. It just seems more smooth and fun. Montu is more intense IMO. SheiKra was actually my first roller coaster.
If I ever go back, I might. I was scared to ride Cheetah Hunt and Montu, but once I rode them it wasn't so bad. My dad had a headache for like three hours after we rode Montu. :)
Coasterforce, I have all the equipment I believe I need. I have: A go pro hd hero A wrist strap (double locked) A chest strap (triple locked) A thick protective casing that is able to be used on film A suction mount to possibly use on the front of rollercoaster cars (single lock) A bar mount to use on the handlebars of restraints (triple locked) What do I do now I think I have everything I need?
Me, coming on this old videos to clown on people 14 year old me walkin down those stairs after a SECOND row experience: hahahahHHAHAhaha my legs go wooo
Coster force, Have you ever dropped a phone or camera while videoing on a rollercoaster? I absoultly love all your videos , you're really good at what you do :) !
This Ride Is The BEST! I Rode On It 3 Times Cuz Of How Fun Is It!! The Drop Scares Me Though! But I Have 2 Be Tough!! The Drop Is So Rough On Ur Body!!!
Coaster Force, is it your job to go around the world to different parks and video tape roller coasters? If it is, i want to know how you got this awesome job.
I'm going to Busch Gardens on a field trip this year and i CANNOT wait to go on all the roller coasters. So, Coasterforce, which roller coaster is your favorite at Busch Gardens Tampa?
My family came here in 2008 when I was only seven, and my dad went on this ride and I refused to go near it but if we went back now I would love to go on this bc the biggest coaster around where I live is the 205ft Stealth
alright before any huge arguments come about when this vid get more views... SHEIKRA:200ft tall, 1 Immelmen(sp?), Splashdown. GRIFFON:205ft tall, 2 Immelmens, Splashdown, Pop of airtime before returning to the station. THERE ARE DIFFERENCES!
This may be a weird post but I've never ridden a floorless coaster before but really want to (they sound fun). I know however that B&M doesn't classify this one as a floorless despite that it uses floorless trains. If this was my first roller coaster like that would it count as a first floorless? And do you get the same thrill as one ones that are classified as floorless?
floorless coasters typically go upside down multiple times, such as kumba does. Shiekra is a dive coaster. There is no floor only to add a higher thrill factor. I dont know if I like floorless or dive coasters better but I can say dive coasters are more intense.
i gave it thumbs up...for the extreme drops...i couldn't ride this...although i experience the Texas Giant at Six Flags over Texas...but that was in my younger days when i was a little thrill seeker...now i chicken out on thrill rides...lol
I don't get how people are afraid of SheiKra. I've been on it so many times that I can't keep count! I think of this as a kiddie ride! I am never scared enough on roller coasters, but Tigris is coming in 2019, I hope that will scare me. The only ride that scares me (and I haven't been on it yet) is Falcon's Fury because it turns you at a 180 degree angle so you are facing DOWN, but what if the harness breaks while you are going down at lightning speed? That would be bad. But if you're a new guest at Busch Gardens, I suggest this ride.
There aren't any simulators. My favorite ride there is the Gwazi which is wooden. it's not typically peoples' favorite but i like it :) a fun one is the Montu because it has 7 loops.
Best coaster I've ever been on. Rode it like 10 times in a row on the front seat. So great!
The front, right seat is my favorite on this ride! It's way intense but way fun! The view from the top is awesome. Rode this at night on the Fourth of July and there were fireworks as far as I could see mixed in with Tampa's city lights... It was breathtakingly beautiful. Going up the lift hill, I'm always holding on for dear life to my seat but as soon as I hear the ride release I put my hands up :D
went on this last Tuesday and it was my first roller coaster
I will never forget it, scariest thing I've ever done
+Arashel Brown Congrats! Just did it the first time myself, was not disappointed.
It was soooo fun though
Arashel Brown I played Mario for the first time and it was kazio Mario world
hardest game ever
Ikr I can’t even survive on Cobra’s Curse lol
That ride is so intense. I went today. My heart still racing every time I remember the feeling of that drop. Very very intense.
I think the drop is kinda relaxing. I have no idea why though.
Went on this one for the first time today. I must say that they got this one right! This is the first coaster since my first one over a decade ago that I've screamed from being afraid on :D
Could you imagine this being a stand-up design instead of a floorless?
It's actually a dive coaster, but they do look alike
It would break your back.
Went on this twice in a row because there was like no one there and ended up spending 1.5 hours in the first aid room felling sick hahaha awesome ride I love it
You know, for a 200 foot drop it doesn't look like that when you're about to drop
When you skip 30 seconds in the vid thinking it’s about to drop but it’s just starting to go up
2:01 I swear I heard some kid say "pineapple"
RafyMKX haha lol agreed
RafyMKX me toooo
Lol I did they was like ''PINEAPPLE''
Me too!
Best coaster there..love how it's one whole car and doesn't matter where you sit because it goes the same speed not that big of a drop when you ride it
My fave moment is that first drop, with those seconds of looking down that steep drop, anxiously waiting for the fun to begin.
Not even on the real ride, yet my heart still dropped to my feet and and pounded in my ears
I'm going tomorrow wish me luck 😁😁
Dude that is the real ride I live in Florida and I have been in that seat like 50 times.
+Zoey Anderson that's not what they meant. They were implying that even tho they weren't riding it they still felt the feeling of being scared just watching.
Aaron Diebold
ohhhhhh now i have failed
That ride is awsome but it go real high
It does
Oh
wow
200 ft to be exact
The highest in Florida 😭
I rode SheiKra and it felt like it was flying. Truly one of the best rollercoasters ever!!!!!!
Haven't been on it yet. Do one for Falcons Fury! Its an awesome ride.
This this was literally the first ride in ages that i was genuinely scared to go on but i absolutely loved it and went on it three times!
Oblivion is amazing you're right but so is this both get your heart pumping so much!
Theose rollercoaster tracks are like the biggest i've ever seen! You guys are soo awsome!!!
Half of this vid is going up. Shows how high it is. Went on it on New Year's Eve last year. Ps all the rides are BEAST at busch gardens
Busch Gardens is the best! They make good quality rides ( like Disney ) and they NEVER have accidents. Except for that tree thing but they can't help that and can't predict it.
Bingo Bumperboom What tree thing?
That perpindicular fall was amazing. No video can really capture how fast and scary roller coasters are. If your in florida. Come pay BG a visit!!!
Love it, loved EVERYTHING about it. Best day ever! Thanks Busch Gardens, Tampa! ❤️
Im so excited! My class is going to the Busch Gardens summer camp thingy cabin May 20-23. It's so awesome! Imma ride every ride.
Coasterforce I love ALL of your videos THEY ARE ALL FUNNY AND THEY ARE ROLLER COASTER VIDEOS I WATCH THEM EVERYDAY WELL WHEN I HAVE TIME
Sheikra isn't that bad at all, The WORSE thing about it is the anticipation before you get on it. Once you're on it its quite enjoyable. Honestly I believe the launch for "Aerosmith" is tougher than Sheikra's drop.
That ride gets boring but never gets old WHATWHATWHATWHAT BC LOGIC
That's pretty high up there befrore the drop! But I still like how Oblivion and Baron 1898 have you plunging straight in to a black pit rather than it being open at the bottom of the drop.
finally convinced my wife to get her credit on this, god this ride is so great.
Rode this in 2008 can't wait to go back!
Went twice today. No difference between front and back roll to me. Awesome ride, no matter where you seat.
@tinkerbelledreamer actually SheiKra was the first true 90 degree drop. Oblivion is 88 degrees.
if you've never been on a roller coaster before, i wouldnt recommend this one as your first, but it is sooo much fun!:D
@AceBriggs6 Correction: There is only that chance of being "misted" on Griffon, where the final stretch of track goes right over the water troughs. As seen in the video, there is no track going over Sheikra's splash zone, therefore, no chance of getting wet.

if u were 4 ft u wouldn't be tall enough to ride, 4 feet is 48 inches, you had to be at least 4"6
I hate how the ride looks like crap on camera but it's smooth and the half loop is cool because you dip under another piece of track and it look and feels cool. And the second drop is really cool you see all those people and the water then WOOSH and your underground. And there is the famous roar that follows you. i can't wait to ride this i am driving from enterprise alabama to tampa in three weeks and this is my first stop :) im ready for the 7 hour drive
good times :) this is my baby. Rode this seven times
I went on it today! I was so scared to ride it but im glad I did! I wish the ride was a bit longer. My favorite was Montu!!!!!
I went to Williamsburg a few weeks ago and got on Griffon without noticing it was the EXACT SAME as Sheikra! Now that I know how Sheikra pretty much is, I can get on it no problem!!! :DDD
Can't wait to ride this during spring break!!
This ride is so much fun! The front row edge seats are the best, and it's actually not that bad once your on it. But every time I ride it I always get the edge seat all the way to the left in the front row and when the train makes the dip out of the station my feet ALWAYS hit the bushes... curse my tallness. :P
I went on shikra with my friends in the front row. It was EPIC. Even though your staring at doom when it tilits you down, it's an epic ride :D
I went on sheikra and it was the best roller coaster I have been on
ugh... super jealous. thats the ONLY ride i havent been on yet in busch gardens... we were rained out, so we didnt hav time!
Only got to ride Kumba.
buddy, ive been riding rollercoasters with loops since i was 3. Scorpion at busch gardens was my first.
This was awesome. Never forget, at the top seen the sunset and at de stop looking down seen strength the other Ride Tower (Falcon Fury). Was amazing. Went on this starting January.
Yes! It was beautiful!
Rode it today for the first time. Loved it!
i think i need to plan a trip to Busch gardens next summer!
I went to busch gardens for a field trip last year, and I knew I would get wet under the splash zone, but I got absolutely DRENCHED, it was so fun :D (I didn't ride sheikra btw) I hope I can go again next year!
i love watching these videos, but i think this is the only one i don't plan on going on lol. it looks much higher in person than on this video!
My favorite roller coaster ever

I found you again lol. Same here.
@YEE941 Yeah, as I seem to recall, Sheikra stopped topped out at 200 ft, whereas Griffon wins at 205. Small difference, yes, but still, its a difference.
Try oblivion at alton towers. 20ft smaller than sheikra but it goes Roughly 115ft under ground. plus the drop is more cinematic
I went on this yesterday and the drop felt like it lasted forever . 😂 Scariest drop ever but the adrenaline it gives you is insane. I would definitely ride this again. 👍🏽
You are insane. No way I'd ever get on that.
went on it in 2010 and hell yeah it was the best coaster i've evr been on! :D
Its the exact same thing as the Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg..same track and everything
Same- Bizarro is one of my favorite coasters too
My heart was just beating watching this...
@luigu15 Not exactly. Griffon has 2 immelmans, Sheikra's second drop only leads to an overbanked curve.
I love the drop so much such a great feeling when the car lets go.
LOL @ 1:39 "uh oh." This ride isn't that bad. The anticipation and anxiety is before the ride but the anxiety is on the ride (at least on the 4 second stop overlooking Tampa Bay and more). im diggin the tribal music at the beginning!
Omg, can't wait til I go to Busch Gardens now!:D
Coasterforce, I have all the equipment I believe I need. I have:
A go pro hd hero
A wrist strap (double locked)
A chest strap (triple locked)
A thick protective casing that is able to be used on film
A suction mount to possibly use on the front of rollercoaster cars (single lock)
A bar mount to use on the handlebars of restraints (triple locked)
What do I do now I think I have everything I need?
When it pauses, it gives you a moment to think of why you chose to come on the ride.
I went on this coaster and I did not realize how awesome it was
can't wait to try that ride in March :)
@SalemSaxophone8 Not to mention scenery. Sheikra is a much more beautiful coaster with an amazing view.
I wanted to go on Busch Gardens when i was in Orlando for my holidays a week ago.Very hard to get there, not in orlando.Didnt go,i was sad...
Me, coming on this old videos to clown on people
14 year old me walkin down those stairs after a SECOND row experience: hahahahHHAHAhaha my legs go wooo
Coster force, Have you ever dropped a phone or camera while videoing on a rollercoaster? I absoultly love all your videos , you're really good at what you do :) !
The park's name is called Busch Gardens Africa.
I'm going on Friday to bush gardens for the end of the year 7th grade field trip.
@coasterforce u should go to Busch gardens when falcons fury comes out
This was an awesome ride.
I love this ride
Went on this yesterday in the front. So much fun
Best ride at Busch gardens

going to bgt tommorow gonna ride this and all of the other coasters
alright before any huge arguments come about when this vid get more views...
SHEIKRA:200ft tall, 1 Immelmen(sp?), Splashdown.
GRIFFON:205ft tall, 2 Immelmens, Splashdown, Pop of airtime before returning to the station.
THERE ARE DIFFERENCES!
oh my god went on this Monday it was TERRIFYING and I love rollercoasters. It was a good one, short ride but really intense
This may be a weird post but I've never ridden a floorless coaster before but really want to (they sound fun). I know however that B&M doesn't classify this one as a floorless despite that it uses floorless trains. If this was my first roller coaster like that would it count as a first floorless? And do you get the same thrill as one ones that are classified as floorless?
yes it would count as a floor less coaster
floorless coasters typically go upside down multiple times, such as kumba does. Shiekra is a dive coaster. There is no floor only to add a higher thrill factor. I dont know if I like floorless or dive coasters better but I can say dive coasters are more intense.
Sam Schetritt Yeah I know B&M doesn't count it, but would you?
I personally wouldn't because the experience is so different, buy you should definitely ride both because they are both really fun
Sam Schetritt I'll try to ride both. It depends on time and money.
i gave it thumbs up...for the extreme drops...i couldn't ride this...although i experience the Texas Giant at Six Flags over Texas...but that was in my younger days when i was a little thrill seeker...now i chicken out on thrill rides...lol
That is my favorite roller coaster from that park my top two in florida along with Incredible Hulk and Dueling Dragons Tied for 2nd
There aren't any simulators. My favorite ride there is the Gwazi which is wooden. it's not typically peoples' favorite but i like it :) a fun one is the Montu because it has 7 loops.
When you are on the lift hill, the light is so bright
I'll be visiting Orlando/Tampa in a couple weeks for the first time. Would you suggest sitting in the middle of the row or on the outside?
This ride is a lot of fun.
my favorite ride at busch gardens. (:
oblivion is an embarrassment compared to this ride. The best roller coaster I've been on
