Ironically enough Emily actually fell for Daniel and she never would have hurt him but the minute he sided with his dad against her he made his choice.
I agree. It was over for them by the end of season one. So the new romance between them in season two and three never stood a chance. I still think it would have been better if Daniel had known who she was. I mean in that break up scene when she gave him the ring back Emily could have told him. It would have been risky but maybe at that time when his concious was still there she could have lured him to her side. Fighting against his parents and telling the truth about flight 197. Than the whole sideplot with Daniel fighting with his bad concious would have become more sense and impact in season two.
@ she couldn’t risk that. He proved he could be bought and siding with his dad knowing the truth like he did i wouldn’t have told him the truth either. He lost all her trust when he did that. He became a really disgusting person later. He’s the reason she will never have a kid but he did make up for it in the end
@@susanpark3451 I know they way the writers changed Daniel´s character by the end of season one and in season two and three, especially with his affair with Sara he could not be trusted to keep her secret. But innocent Daniel from the early episodes who did not know about all the things his parents did maybe could have become an ally. If Emily had told him the story from her perspective. Not the crap Conrad and Victoria truly served him as the truth. Like they did it all to protect the Grayson family, including their children. So I guess if they had depicted Daniel differently he might could have had a chance to grow into Emily´s ally. After all he did sacrifice his life for her and tried to change for Margaux in the last season.
