Walk The Line is one of my favorite movies, but I had no idea June Carter struggled with substance abuse, and especially not that Patsy Cline got her into amphetamines. No surprise, though, because touring is a grueling schedule, and amphetamines gave them the "energy" to keep up. RIP, June & Johnny. ♥
Music aside, they both had issues. She thought she could save Johnny Cash, and he treated her badly. He cheated on her continuously, even with her own sister. I honestly don't know why she stayed with him.
The record companies were notrious for deliberately scheduling concerts so far apart from each other that the singers/bands would have to literally drive from one gig to another and try to make it in time for a sound check. Instead of scheduling gigs closer to one another and giving the musicians a little time to breathe, the record companies just gave them boxes of amphetemines to stay awake. So the act got addicted and destroyed their life; there was another up and coming right behind to continue raking in the dough. Hollywood gets heck for how they treated movie stars, but La-La land has NOTHING on the record music executives.
Hi, you did really good narrating but, I think your mic placement is wonky?? You voice keeps going way up & down. You you have a program that allows for you to adjust your settings? Maybe play around with the echo, pitch & tone a little? Where do you record? Have you considered a closet full of clothing or blankets? It's not a you problem, it sounds like your equipment. ❤❤
No, it's honestly the location of his microphone. If he moves 3mm away it sounds low but, when he moves back he's screaming! His video is not the problem. ❤❤
I feel for Johnny’s first wife and kids who were left behind in the middle of nowhere. Very sad story.
Um... those of us who saw the documentary on Johnny's first wife, Vivian, know who had hidden hurt.
Love them both
They left this world a better place than they found it.
May their souls rest in peace.
There's another movie about them that is called Ring of Fire that is really good too...

For years the Cashs contributed to the Rehabilitation center he recovered in. They continued to attend church at the little chapel at the center.

Good narration.
After she helped Johnny through his addiction… she became an opiate addict… was in trouble for stealing scripts etc and history hid it.

Yeah but u know right from wrong
Sometimes, you can't help who you fall in love with

Im sorry but his guys voice is better for anything that's not a documentary.
Can’t put people like Cash or Carter on a pedestal, you wouldn’t have insincere friends or family, so why have insincere idols!
She was a home wrecker. I have no sympathy for her.
It is not hard to wreck a home that already has multiple cracks.
@cynthiacarter514 - That doesn't change my post. He is guilty too...but she was still a home wrecker.
This was an interesting video, but please get a different narrator. It's as if this one is new to words.
Wth? What are you saying? He did fine. 🤷🏼♀️

I feel he is reading it like a school project where the last few words of every sentence are mumbled!.
Can't hear what he's saying at the end of sentences (years etc) gave up before the end.
