Call me crazy but I feel sorry for the Joker here, he got pushed too many times. The community destroyed him, his illness made the things only worse and his mother... well... nothing good can come out if a grown up guy lives with his mother - I know something about it, 34 years old, divorced, my parents live with me - and sometimes I just feel that I am on the edge, that a small spark could ignite/awake a different person in me. Pretty shitty times in which we have to live now.

It gives the movie a much, much darker feeling, almost nostalgic, melancholic, it allows to look at it from a completely different perspective. I am shocked, really, music (good one) can change the movie in a drastic way. I knew Joker was a depressing and touching movie, but now... with Kalax and Shibuya Lights, it simply destroys my mind. Still not sure if it is good or bad, but with this song and the clips from the movie, I am starting to feel what the Joker felt... :( The whole Covid lockdown situation does not make the situation easier, not... at... all...

This was so powerful and relatable....I normally despise the marvel superhero BS that's been fkn EVERYWHERE for 13 years+....but this film had a real life message for all the biggest current issues we all face as a society...ie men's and young men's mental health and suicide awareness....and the BS ways of society chastising bullying and shaming u for daring to show show your real actual emotions....toxic 50s style masculinity attitudes
I feel sorry for the joker, now that I think of it. All he wanted was to be loved and understood, and to know that he was worthwhile just as he was. I wish that someone would have seen the broken soul inside him that had so much compassion to offer others, yet he never got the chance to let it out. I truly feel in my heart there is hope for redemption even for someone like him, although mental illness is a poison to the mind. There is truly no one who is purely good or bad- we are all merely different shades of gray.
