I had a TH-cam video demonetized several years ago, not because of hate speech, but because it challenged organized medicine. Later, because of a small subscription base and very few views, I was demonetized completely. Nowadays, if I make a major upload I merely put an advertising trailer on TH-cam and a link in its description to a monetized platform (Amazon's streaming and DVD services). See my uploads here if you wish, for examples. TH-cam's refusal to pay small uploaders like me suggests catering to uploaders who become heavily dependent on TH-cam, thereby being easily controlled and bullied by TH-cam, and silencing people like me who have things to say or show due to a major life outside of TH-cam and are merely using TH-cam as an incidental activity, an adjunct, and not a primary livelihood. This policy looks dangerous in the very long run, for it makes censorship easier. I can say what I please and let TH-cam throw me offline; I can afford to take the risk. Major TH-cam uploaders cannot.
Wow I would say at least 50 to 60 videos a week some under 5min or 1hr and meditation videos at night and I just got turned on to Alan watts I been watching TH-cam since 2008 heavy and I even have videos I have uploaded.. i learned so much on TH-cam that’s how I found Alux it’s my favorite thing to watch I like streaming service but TH-cam is my favorite no question

Except that TH-cam is now overloading videos with commercials, which is what viewers are sick and tired of. People will look for other options.
I hear most of the videos at 2x speed so probably a lot like really a lot.
