STRONGLY SUGGEST that you always use a holster. If you buy a $500 gun, do not accept a $5.00 holster. You should be willing to spend up to $100 or $200 on a holster. I recommend NSR kydex, Tulster kydex, Milt Sparks hand-made leather. GOOD LUCK. P.S. If you don't use a holster, your gun can slip down into your groin, or out your leg-hole. You are responsible for securing your own gun.
Northern California Contra Costa County- 1. Send in initial application. 2. Get a Live Scan. 3. CCW 8 hour firearm training. 4. Wait for Sheriff to contact you to set up an appointment for interview. 5. Live fire test with Sheriff. 6. Done Total costs are around $520 It’s a process but all worth it! Get yours and practice your 2nd Amendment Rights!!!
sorry for the late reply, no I don't provide courses, but if you had any questions I could demonstrate a lot of the basics at the range, that might be a good video.
the next year's going to go by quick, I'm already coming up on my second year where I have to renew.... and I procrastinated two years...be wise... it's not that long...
@@radioa3sthetic I just went to my interview and it was a year ago I sent in my application. I thought they forgot about me or just threw my application away. That is what I told the deputy. But I'm in LA county and the deputy said that they have gotten a large volume of applications. That is why it is taking do long. Now I got to wait 3 to 4 months to find out if I get to go to the next step California firearm training.
@@charlesw322 California is among a half dozen states that no longer require people to show good cause in order to qualify for a license to carry a concealed weapon - often referred to as a CCW. Educate yourself bro.
Thank you, my Interview is tomorrow and it crept up on me. I was able to move it from Feb 2023 to October 19! My family does own a business, maybe I’ll mention that. I’m excited!!
I wouldn't go in blind they don't care about common sense or what you think is a good reason you have to have a specific good cause and there's only a few that work
@@DJElectraFry Hi! I had my first Firarms Handling class in November 2022 and absolutely fell in love. Had an awesome experience (first time holding and shooting a gun)! Right after, holidays began and my entire household got the virus, it was horrible… I am going to try to purchase the M&P Shield, because that was the gun that felt most comfortable during class. After that, I am going to schedule more classes at the shooting range and study… I have until April 2023 to take the test. Thank you so much for reminding me! Our governor Gavin Newsom just announced stricter conceal carry law in CA today! I was pretty pissed to hear that today. You should absolutely carry- good luck!!

Hi great channel and advice.

Do you provide the firearms training courses?

what would be the best way to fill out the good cause without saying you have a business?

meanwhile people in AZ are walking into a pawn store and getting glock 19's for $400

You don’t need a good cause. The Supreme Court struck that down a couple months ago. Just put N/A on the application.
lol.... you're smoking the good stuff LOL

if I was a boarding officer but I'm in a port security unit so it doesn't apply to us

Correct, but the deputy going to my application read what I put there and it said to protect my family. She said good, next question.

Hi brother do they ask for proof of cash and that u carry that amount of money if ur a business owner . Thanks.
no you just have to tell them you do you just have to prove that you're a business owner that's pretty much it,
Do they ask for your business u license number to prove you have a business ?
Santa Clara County Sheriff just got convicted for running a $$$ for CCW scam. 😀
That sucks.
Interview for Cali ccw, good cause, 1 year wait❓ 🤔. Illinois not the case 🚫 yet I ironically feel safer in San Diego 😎.
