I estimate about 2500-5000 depending on how many colors you want and whether surface is ready for the paint or not. I’m thinking of a brand new court with 4” concrete slab installed. $15k roughly. However I love badminton too and the court is the same size so it could be dual purpose with some clever net post exchange system.
@itmaslanka a drum of black resurfacer is $900. Depending on what colors you use, they range from $1,100 to $5,000 per drum. Scillica sand isn't cheap, nor are any of the supplies needed for crack repairs. If you need a court built from scratch, then you have to level out the area, moving dirt and putting 8-12 inches of stone down for the asphalt base. Asphalt is done in two parts: the base at 3 ½ inches and then the top finish at 1 ½ inches. A lot of work and time go into making courts.
how long does it take for the acrylic resurfacer to dry out before applying another coat?
I used the court resurfacer from home depot. They recommend 24 hours.
How it will cost ? For this chemical....
How much in materials ?
About $3000
do i need to etch a new concrete pickleball court before apply paint
Yes. Muriatic acid works best. Instructions for etching should be on the back.
Wouldn’t interlocking sports court tiles be cheaper, require little surface preparation and be weather resistant?
Some folks claim that the ball doesn't bounce quite right. You still have to have some level pavement underneath.
C è qualcuno che l ha già fatto in Italia, quali prodotti utilizzare ? Dove trovarli?
Anyone knows the name of the company for the ''tape installation tool'' (see video at 3:24)???
Line taping machine, available through SealMaster / SportMaster
how long does it take to do all that?
It partly depends on how much help you have. I did mine myself, so took much longer...
Why didn't your do all the green then do the red.
How much would all this process cost ?
