What’s going on everyone!!
So as some of you know I have used a ground tent which was cool and now currently using a roof top tent. But with the tent it has its pro’s and cons.
So in this video I’ll show you how to set it up and why I would recommend

This is perfect, I have a toy hauler and I’ve been wanting something to do off the whence the door is down. This is way cheaper than the stuff they are selling at the RV stores.

I have the front runner 2.5m , not installed yet , I guess I will need the room too to ditch the thoughts about RTT

I've been thinking about awning rooms as an alternative to RTTs. Roof tents have the advantage of being quicker to set up and less dependent on terrain, but that comes at a huge cost in terms of money, weight, and aerodynamics/mpg. Awning rooms are a fraction of the price, but are a good middle ground between RTTs and camping tents. More headroom, and you can easily set up a cot or mattress inside. Definitely considering it!

I came here just say how much I like this company. Our awning room had a small fault. The way how customer service made up for it far exceeded our expectations.

Room awnings are way better because I can still use my roof rack for storage and travel with my family comfortable inside. Away from bugs at night and bites. I have the 79" CVT

I’m looking to add this for our family of 4. My rtt is for two so I think this will be a great addition but my only worry is the wall looks too loose. Does it move around and make a lot of noise with light wind? Also what are my options for the padded floor?
I think it would be a good addition, the wall are able to be staked down to help with some of that. as far as the floor goes I think the floor that it comes with is the only one.
I've been curious about the room setups off of the awnings.
Honestly it's a great alternative to a tent. Not sure about weather or climate resistance
Does your roof sag really bad? Im 5'10 and have a 4runner with a 3" lift and 33s and my head rubs the roof because it sags so bad
sorry for the late response. when I had awning, I don't remember sagging but then again it might have just didn't notice it.

that is a great question! I'm sure you could, i have not tried it.
@Daily Dos of Los I'm sure you could. Check out set up of ARB awning room. Would make set up and take down a lot better.
What size awning do you have on your rig to demo your Roam awning room?
We are using the 6.5 ft awning

That's a great question but it wouldn't allow it since it's held up with the awning poles.
How bad was the truck flooded? Found ur truck on Copart and it’s about to sell just curious I might buy it

@@DailyDosofLos if the engine isn’t hydro locked it’s more than likely just the two ecus underneath the dash, and one underneath driver seat, my buddy flooded his Tacoma up to the head unit on dash and once he got new ecus started right up, shot some water out but started

Trying to choose between roam and ARB
I use to have an ARB. A while back I didn't/dont have any complaints about it! I think the arb just a "higher tread count" to prevent sunlight getting through it and the roam awning just haveore color options so if matching your rig/set up is a important that's a plus
Great video, but I think for ground use I will stick with a tent, that way I can quickly pack up the awning and hit the trails, leaving the rest set up and ready for my return.
