Holy cow. If you've ever done or seen someone do 10 mph on a treadmill (6 minute flat miles) it makes a lot of noise and looks like they are absolutely flying. This guy is unbelievable.
@ccbgaming6994 An average high school varsity track runner can do it. I did 4:55 and was barely on the varsity team. 20 years later I pretty much have 0 chance. 😂
Sam Schwarting The way his avatar is running really quickly on the spot at the beginning seems to suggest his treadmill can send power and cadence. As he is not physically on the machine at the start, his cadence wouldn’t be detected on the belt so his avatar doesn’t move. Maybe it’s a smart treadmill or has something like a treadmill tracker sensor like a Runn on it. I was worried that he’d trip and get spat out the back. Beautiful technique
@@grobbosixtyone maybe just a stryd footpod as he just jumps on and off with the belt moving at full speed. you can see him manually adjust the belt speed at certain points.
I'm shocked that the achievement is for running a sub 5 minute mile. That is a pretty elite time compared to doing a sub hour Alpe on Zwift. Maybe 5:30 or 6:00 minute mile for the achivement is more fair?
I'm impressed with how stable the treadmill is
I'm sure the out of time clapping and whooping added nothing but a new difficulty level to this whole experience, well done dude.
I was seriously thinking how impressive it was for him to be able to block out the out of time clapping 😂😂😂

Funny that he unlocked the "Olmypian" achievement for running it under 5 mins. He needs a new achievement added into the game for this effort!
TOTALLY! maybe a hidden achieve, "Super Human"
That wouldn’t be a good idea for the industry because you’d already have to be a professional runner to get that achievement.

@veggiem0nster I thought you were talking about the sub-4min mile
Running as fast as I bike. Well fucking done.
I’ve never seen an avatar running that fast on Zwift, and have never seen a cyclist passing a runner that slowly! He made that look sooooooo easy……..
Dang where can you even get a treadmill like that! Amazing and he should do it again!

@@oldtwinsna8347The Stryd pod does not work like that, the avatar would not be moving like that if he used a pod.
Watching this is the most tiring 4 mins of my day.
Awesome video! Can any one tell me what project are they used to project swift image onto the wall like that please. Thank you! 😍❤️👟👟🏃🏼♂️😎
Beast!
im amazed he did this with a tread mill that his stride was legit hitting the plastic bumper on the front of it wonder if they added that just for him
Yea that’s what I was thinking!
Curious the brand and model of the treadmill?
Pretty sure it is a True 900.
Ha! FAM is running like his college days at UT. Nice one.
he's running very fast but his avatar looks like its jogging
Nice
the clap really disturbed the bpm if its was me.
I look like that running 3-3:15 min/km (4:50-5:15 min/mile). He makes it look like he's going way slower than sub-4 mile pace

Reported for hacking
hacking AWESOMENESS :)
Ya, what treadmill is that?
True 900 I believe.
7 tenths of a mile sounds wrong in so many levels 😂
Treadmill is much easier than real running.
Not always. It depends on a lot of factors.
What if he had hit/pulled the emergency cord by accident? That would have sucked lol. Nah, but damn a good job.
And then he trips
Be better with HR and cadence
He should have had to start from a dead stop, like a real runner. Sorry.
Dude did start from a dead stop
