Old Catskill Mountain House site

Join me as I do a small hike to the site of the old Catskill Mountain House while I give a little history of what used to sit on this commanding viewpoint. There are no extensive ruins at this site since the area is now owned & operated by NYS parks as a day use & camping area ($10 day use fee). After intentionally destroying and removing anything hazardous, NYS simply left some signage & a few benches to sit & enjoy all you can see while reflecting on the history that took place at such an iconic site.
