This is true. I was in Bangalore till 2017 and was having frequent wheezing, cold, cough etc and needed medication. I thought this was due to cold weather in Bangalore. I had never been to any other country. Later I moved to Canada and even though the temperature is below freezing there, I never got wheezing or sick for 2 year. I came back to visit Bangalore in 2019 and I immediately felt wheezing and got cough and cold. I then searched air quality index and found that all these health problems are definitely related to air pollution. India should limit air, water etc pollution and corruption. Many people are suffering from air pollution and don't know about it. Edit: 3 years now in Canada and never had cough or cold here! . Last time also I experienced the same thing when I visited Bangalore in Jan 2020.

Ya overpopulation is one of the cause of pollution but I think most contribution to air pollution is only by industries because they are not following proper rules as they dump their wastes directly in the open ground and also dump waste water but both solid waste and water need to be first recycled and also there are many other rules which industries not following because they just want to make profit and don't want to spend money on recyling of waste else they give money to government officials who don't disclose this and then our government blame farmers for pollution lete tell u if industrialists who earn so much profit don't recycle their waste then why farmers who don't even earn much profit how can they recycle their waste because it costs them high so don't blame innocent people because about 70%people have only 1or 2 vehicle which contribute much less than industries and if govt. give them proper facilities in public transport they can even stop using their private vehicles

I am lucky because me Maharashtra ke Baramati me reheta hu , me jab chhota tha tab utne trees nhi the bad me yaha ke mp ne ek plan kiya our ab sari city green lag rahi he , kuchh der yesa chal raha to lagta he yaha ek jungle hi ban jayega 😅😂, but its good for us 😊

It's sad to say that air pollution prevails in India even in 2023. We can see haze all around us. Although the cities with ample amount of forests and greenery have slightly cleaner air than before, but the overall AQI of India has not improved much.
May this Government and people of India realises the problem soon if they want India to be a developed country rather than a underdeveloped/developing one. 🙏🏻

As a part of reducing air pollution China has replaced all coal fired cooking to gas fired They have also used geothermal energy for heating purposes. In hotter days their steel plants are running at 25% capacity. So they have reduced air pollution in a timely manner

Ya overpopulation is one of the cause of pollution but I think most contribution to air pollution is only by industries because they are not following proper rules as they dump their wastes directly in the open ground and also dump waste water but both solid waste and water need to be first recycled and also there are many other rules which industries not following because they just want to make profit and don't want to spend money on recyling of waste else they give money to government officials who don't disclose this and then our government blame farmers for pollution lete tell u if industrialists who earn so much profit don't recycle their waste then why farmers who don't even earn much profit how can they recycle their waste because it costs them high so don't blame innocent people because about 70%people have only 1or 2 vehicle which contribute much less than industries and if govt. give them proper facilities in public transport they can even stop using their private vehicles
