    Is an insert inside the frame of 90mm enough?
    Thank you

    Hello, if I lower the post a little after having installed it. Do I have to tighten the cable again?

    Hello! My dropper is not holding in the low position, it keeps going up. Do you know how could I fix it? Is it that the cable is too loose perhaps? or maybe it has to much tension? Will await your response please! ;)

    hello when clamping my bike to a bikestand with this dropper on do you recommend clamping it to the lower thinner side that doesnt move or higher thicker side that slides down?

    • @dtswiss
      @dtswiss  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, ideally you clamp it as close as possible to the seat clamp, but you need to make sure that you do not damage the tube. If your post is not to far out you could clamp it on the upper part, but there a chance of damaging the internals due to a big lever is apparent. I personally clamp it usually on the seat tube of the frame. Kind regards, Christian, DT Swiss

    Is there a way to shorten the dropper post travel so that it doesn't extend too high?

    • @dtswiss
      @dtswiss  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi and thank you for your message. Our dropper is using already a reduced travel specific for Cross Country which is 60mm and there is no option to reduce or prolong this travel. With other Dropper post this might be possible. Enjoy riding the trails, Friso "DT Swiss".

      @@dtswiss At full extension, it's a tad too high for me. Is it possible to insert the dropper post past the maximum insertion up to the lock nut?

    hi, why my dropper goes up even without touching the lever, a little nudge will lift the dropper or it will be unlocked

    • @dtswiss
      @dtswiss  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, most likely you got to much tension on your cable and therefore the locking mechanism can't work properly. Please refer to our manual to troubleshoot the issue: www.dtswiss.com/pmt/00/00/00/00/00/00/00/10/00/00/03/11/4/MAN_DXD10000003114S_WEB_EN_001.pdf

    Just bought a new bike that has the DT Swiss D232 dropper post. The dropper post is loose and twist sideways. Is it supposed to be like that?

    • @dtswiss
      @dtswiss  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Karin, thanks for getting in touch with us. A certain play is a normal. What you have to check is if your droppers locknut is tighten. Please refer to our technical manual or contact your local service center if any doubt should arise. www.dtswiss.com/pmt/00/00/00/00/00/00/00/10/00/00/03/11/4/MAN_DXD10000003114S_WEB_EN_001.pdf Kind regards, Christian, DT Swiss

    Mine lowered itself, they changed the clamping ring (raster), and they placed a conical one. now IT no longer gets off by itself, but it makes noise. I don't understand how dt swiss engineers can be so bad

      it is a design problem, 3 times it has gone to the technical service and it keeps falling. It is a very poor quality product. they are not responsible for it

    I would like to ask what would be the issue when the dropper is compressed (engaged) quickrelease slider can move up and down freely. when the dropper is not compressed of course it doesnt move. this causes then when dropper compresses the lever not to be tight but it moves (i am using WolfTooth ReMote Light Action).

      Hi Lubos and thank you for your question. We can only give advice about our products and even there I would suggest then to contact one of our service centers. In your case I would suggest to contact Wolftooth components. Enjoy riding your Bicycle Friso "DT Swiss".
