I have been binge watching Dark Shadows and Newhart over the last few weeks and recently learned that Julia and Jerry Lacy have been married for years. Out of all the actors on DS, Mr. Lacy was one of the best. And who can take their eyes off of Stephanie when she's in a scene. In season 6 of Newhart, Jerry had a small part as a newscaster at WPIV.

i really enjoyed her performance in Looking. there's a scene during which her son tells her that he didn't want to bring his BF to his sister's wedding or something like that because he feared her reaction. Her character responds "that's on you." Her delivery is spot on.

Miami Vice and Newhart defined my 1980's experience with TV. I loved the intensity of MV yet loved the humor of Newhart. Thanks to all those actors and writers for making me happy.
