The medical personnel have cause to come in and bother you or the baby at certain intervals as they are required by medical procedure to do vitals or whatever the need may be. However, other people in and out of the room, who can visit once you are home, adds to the commotion. And probably, as nice as the NICU cause is, strangers should not just be entering the room either. I don't know if Riley cared much about her sibling, but she gave a hearty greeting to her Dada and they shared a spirited "low five" at the foot of the bed over something. 48 hrs. can be important for the hospital stay because of certain serious issues that can arise within that time, but you do not seem to exhibit the conditions as a result of the birth that would bring these on. Hospitals just took a lot of heat a few years back for sending women home too soon when the results proved to be horrifying and preventable. So you are fortunate to be healthy. Joe will have to compensate with Riley a bit because you have a helpless infant to tend to.
Nearly 31 weeks now and your video has made me super excited to meet my little boy. Riley and Jackson are gorgeous. What app are you using to track feeds and nappies? 1st time mom so think I'll need something for me and my husband to use.

That look on your face when your holding him brings back so many memories. Its like omg this is my baby holy. Omg he here now what do i do lol. Its such an overwhelming feeling . My due date is tomorrow im 4cm he’s fully engaged im completely thinned out . Now I wait Congrats again
I just had my first baby, and if it helps ease your mind at all labour/delivery was not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. It is so incredibly empowering, i already can't wait to so it again 😂 also, 10/10 would get the epidural again

Hahaha my baby girl was exactly like that. She was so hard to wake up to feed so i have to take her clothes off as per doctor’s suggestion and tickle hee feet. Now she’s the lightest sleeper 🤩😜
