All of you students ride so beautifully. I just love watching everyone enjoying their time at your barn. You have created a wonderful place for them to come and experience horses. Great job Stephanie. ❤
I admire her so much it is making me seriously want to truck my kid from Maryland to Illinois once a month just to ride with her! The progress her kids make is so impressive and she is so good herself you can just tell she is a wonderful teacher and role model.
Your horses (and ponies of course!!) are so well behaved even when they are a bit green or fresh! Love the barn by the way 😊😊

My first instructor used to get on the ponies, too. It wasn't every time but she would definitely do it if the ponies were acting out of character. Now that I have a few horses of my own and a lesson kid to teach, I prep them before she rides, and will continue to do so until she's experienced enough to handle it herself. Keep doing what you're doing. It's clearly working!
My instructor simply disciplines the horse I'm riding, discipline meaning some smacks. Not in an abusive way of course, just enough to let them now they'd better quit messing around. I will admit though, those horses have acted out quite a bit lmao

Wait am I stupid what happened to Frankie?
He has a bone cyst in his sesamoid that has gotten bigger and also he’s developed arthritis in his fetlocks so his legs can’t absorb shock the way they need to for him to safely jump anymore. Not worth risking him getting injured and plus he just won’t stay sound jumping anything more than what he did in this video so he just takes it pretty easy these days!
