    The issue with all the 18 and 24v compact tools is the existence of makita, dewalt, and most importantly milwaukee 12v platforms. the 12v compact impacts hit just as hard despite being comically smaller. A milwaukee stubby with a 2ah battery has nothing sticking out of the handle, an automatic win for me. The amount of times the battery ends up hitting something so you cant get the driver and socket to the fastener without weird adapters. My whole toolkit is ryobi, but my compacts are milwaukee m12 because the price premium was worth the size and clearances.

      Oh dude I completely agree. I think maybe rigid's sub-compact impact And also now that I think about it maybe makita's as well, might have been better buys. I work field service, I don't even use my 20 volt tools anymore. M12s hammer drill is maybe the best small drill anyone has ever designed lol. I love that it has a half inch chuck as well.
      Also Home Depot has got some pretty deals on the M12 batteries right now.

      @kylehughes1619 I literally just bought the m12 hammer drill and impact driver kit for 179. Came with a charger, 4ah and 2ah regular and 2.5ah hp battery. And a nifty case that it all fits into. Also picked up their m12 surge impact driver for the more delicate work

    I like the 3/8 milwaukee on the 18v . This is still cool, but i own flex for the saws for now. The drill is good but i don't like lugging it around.

    This is another awesome video. Keep it up. Off the subject, but I was wondering if you are going to do a video using the Milwaukee Forge battery in any other tools like the Gen 2 high impact wrench. Just to see if there is more performance.

    Lets aim high and say that LED draws 5 watts (more like 2 but high for the math), it draws 0.2 amps from this battery. These batteries are capable of delivering in excess of 2000w of power, or 83.3 amps. While not for these tools exactly, the jerryrigged test ive seen of current draw test in milwaukee and dewalt put compact impacts like this in the 800w range when they're beating on a bolt. Even say these are somehow double the power draw, theres still well over 400w in the battery to power the light. Aka if you turn the light off to squeeze out more power, you might wanna skip putting ketchup on your fries to save on gas

      Yeah that would be a great video. Can't wait for the Dewalt version, hopefully next year. (3/4drive Dcf961) Thought about getting the XGT, but then you gotta get 40v makita batteries and charger. Where the dcf961 performs similar, but eats 1/2drive sockets for breakfast, and it can use regular 20V Max batteries which are under $70 for a 5ah. Heck, i saw the other day you can get 2 5ah batteries and charger for about $140. Do that with makita, dont even wanna know how much😬

    Great video as always…however I’ll stick with my ketchup brand. I know they are aiming for Milwaukee but they have a very very long ways to go when it comes to tool depth. The Milwaukee platform is deep…..I work on forklifts , order pickers , reach trucks , swing reaches , pacers , pallet jacks and all other kinds of material handling equipment everyday so they have a long ways to go to satisfy my needs as a wrench spinner……nice try though….😊

    • @connor3288
      @connor3288 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well why not both still? You can use the battery adaptors haha. I believe the dewalt batteries are priced better than any other brands, at least the 20V Max ones. Obviously wouldnt work on M12 tools though.

      @@connor3288i always wonder this. I find it quite silly that ppl stick to one brand. Thats exactly what they want you to do. I buy the best tool for the job, so i have a bunch of battery platforms. Its so short sighted to stick to one platform

    As always I have to try and reason why fastener size is changing the outcome lol. I’m imagining maybe a lot of the rotational mass being inside of the diameter of the fastener is playing some role in changing how hard it’s able to impact? Interesting stuff

    Great video and “meh” performance from Flex this time. The 12v impact wrenches from DEWALT and Milwaukee have the same break away torque. Why pick a heavier tool if a smaller and lighter tool is just as powerful?

    • @boosted2.4_sky

Clearly just bloating the reviews and stars with feebie reviews. Not your fault shop tool reviews. Just saying. Mite jus not get 1 any more at this point.
