@@SketchBookSkoolyou’re also helping a former professional artist like me rediscover her artistic backbone after allowing 2020 and the resulting PTSD to destroy it! Bless you, dear man.
A few years ago I did a sketch almost every day for 6 months. It was sort of a journal as I sketched something related to my day (sometimes literal, sometimes a bit more cryptic). Unfortunately, after 6 months I couldn’t keep it going, I guess I burnt myself out because I didn’t sketch for ages after that. However, the good news is that in the process of sketching every day, I learned to like my own style and stopped wishing I could sketch like someone else, so I have no regrets!
It's so important for people to realise that the small things they do and experience throughout the day are worth celebrating, they're signs that life is lived through you. In this world where every experience has to be extraordinary to be magical , it's easy to forget that the ordinary is just as magical.
I do something similar every morning. Morning pages were a drudge, I have a 6x6 sketch book one side is written, weather, dinner, feeling, plans, ideas for art, etc. The page below (I work in it vertical), are sketches, art ideas, what I’m doing that day, what happened yesterday, fleshed out stick figures for people and animals. It’s fast, fun and very doable. Highly recommend! ❤
I did a daily sketchbook drawing when I was in school. I graduated and I stopped drawing daily. I have my sketchbook from my drawing class. I remember when I drew in my book. I saw my progress from when I started and when I finished. I will get back into it.
Yesss! You get it, sir. I love your channel so much! I'm grateful it found me. If we met in person I think we'd get along just fine. :) Thank you for the inspiration, and the reminders!
Thank you for making this video. At the beginning of this year inktober i don't know if I can make inktober drawing. but after watching your video, i started drawing in my sketch book for my inktober this year. With random stuff to draw and a simple view of what i've been through daily. 🙏😊
I’ve watched this video multiple times to inspire me and it always does! I’m in the process of drawing every day in Maine. How do I combat the dissatisfaction with my own work even though I’m doing a great job of recording the experiences? It can be discouraging at times. Thanks!
maybe I will document my journey of building my TH-cam channel here about me teaching Hebrew. I just started and uploaded 4 letters so far. I'm still at the beginning of this process. 🙏
Hi there! 👋 Many years ago, 2016 or so, I was contemplating to teach the Arabo-Persian alphabet on TH-cam. Never did it but nice to find someone who has a similar idea. Plus, I've been wanting to learn Hebrew forever. My father learned it, so I'll probably find some study material but will check your channel now. 😊
I have been trying to draw but i am so bad.... i can not draw directly from a real object. I end up to copy others Becauae i dont know how to choose color as well. Do you have any advise for people like me, who dream of drawing well? Thank you
Здравствуйте, я смотрю ютуб на русском языке, месяц назад у вас вышло видео "7 дневный вызов",оно мне очень понравилось❤, остальные ваши видео без русского перевода😢🙂
All right, I've just drawn something 🎉
It's just my shower, but the first shower after a surgery is a sort of victory to me
Hooray....yes, the first shower after surgery is an event worth recording. Best wishes for your return to full health.
You're so needed in this internet full of sh*t about what's "acceptable" art or not. Thanks! 😊
I'm just trying to help folks find their own creative voice.

No happening today but a squadron of Su-30 from Royal Malaysia air force doing some flyby. No big deal...
Sure, "there's a 'story' there"... but is there an *interesting* story there?
Can you make it interesting, Michael?
