I'm really fascinated by people who's faces express 2 different emotions at the same time. It's maybe 100% from the eyes - 1 seems like the muscles are tighter than the other - but maybe that tension say something about the person's persona. Sometimes it's clearly just a physical thing - there's asymmetry in the persons face - but with her for example it looks like there are 2 contrasting perceptions and expressions.
It's actually an aria taken from an opera, in which the soprano's character is required to dress the part. So it's actually designated by the composer that she does so.
