Well you'd lose 12% damage but your overall sustain would be a lot better. It's not a bad choice, i just felt like imperial sustain was excessive this patch for templar. However imperial remains a solid top 3 race atm so it would still work very well
@@asayas9541 thanks alot boss :) we actually run the same gear, skills, race, and almost cp I run dw maces, but will try axes. I wouldn't have thought axes being combative with maces. I also run the mag regen mundus since I tend to sit on back bar 75% waiting for acuity.
@@asayas9541 so that's why you have low heal, dmg numbers :D on the other hand I don't like to use resto staff on stamplar. I think, the 10 sec bubble, vigor, rally, ritual, cleanse are enough to keep me alive. 2h/snb (snb ult) seems better for me to do 1vx.

Is the damage difference from axes and maces a big difference? Do you have any issues with loss of pen?
Axes are way more effective since you use acuity. An axe's damage buff is twice as high as a mace when acuity is up
