Honda UM2460 mower UM616

Mowing tall, thick and wet grass and pretty satisfied with performance of this mower. Full throttle, 24" blade (61cm) low setup. GXV160 engine, hydrostatic transmission. Rear wheels are 13", note that grass is bigger than wheels in some areas. Would appreciate higher adjustment for rough terrain and avoiding mole hills - highest setup is 75mm (3").

Hi and thanks for the vid. Can you tell the difference between 2460 and um516? Mine is a UM516C ( year 2001). I am not sure about the transmission. I don't feel any power on the wheels uphills or a molehill in front. Any help, tipp appreciated, as I did not find a workshop manual by now. Regards Heinz, Germany

Hola buenas, estoy pensando en comprar una de estas desbrozadora y me gustaría saber si funcionan bien?, y si se puede meter por terreno con hiervas altas y ke no están lisos, es decir ke anteriormente estaba labrado y luego creció la hierva. Muchas gracias y me gustaría que alguien me ayudará a tomar una decisión. Un saludoo

Is it dangerous for the hands when you need to clean the blades?

There was no need to clean them, only housing from underside eventualy... No problems there. Logically, machine has to be turned off :)

@@barraberson thank you very much. I have never had this type of machine, actually I use a Honda umr 435 t and I'm thinking if it's better to me to change it. Do you think that work would be easier?

@@andreapraderio8458 If your Honda is backpack brush cutter then it is uncomperable... This mowers use is for large areas and it cuts grass on predefined height. It is about 6 times faster and much easier to work with mower like this, than with brush cutter. But, backpack brush cutter comes in play for difficult corners and areas where you might have rough terrain, stones etc... So, each machine has its usage.

I think I can use both, the new for opened areas and the old as a trimmer.
