Hi Fiona and thank you for your video. I’m wanting to enamel kerosene lantern top cap and could I ask if your process will work? I’m hoping a pottery supplier has the powder frit
interesting!!! What was the liquid that you poured at the beginning into the bowl with the piece of glass? I'm making a small research on enameling, any information of uses will help. thank you
probably deionized water - you can get it from automotive suppliers for filling car batteries, enamelists use it where the tap water has too many minerals (which can change the colours) or if it is likely to grow algae if you store the enamel wet.
Hi,I notice you have the same kiln as me,I just picked it up last week,I have no info on this burnout kiln, would you be so kind to answer a few questions please, what is the name of the kiln, like who made it, what is the pressure you set the gas going into it by the regulator any more specs you could give me would be help full, even if you could give me a link to a pdf file would be great please, Loving the vid
I love how your workspace and display are all in one. Very nicely arranged.

Hi Fiona! Where is your studio and how can I visit? Thank you
Do larger pieces require annealing? Are there any special procedures for firing mild steel?

That gave me a nostalgic feeling
So much I do not yet know of this process....but learning. Where do you get glass to crush ? Any glass ?
You go to a glassmaker and buy the glass to be powdered.
Ciao Ms. Rae, are you open to working with a sustainable start up
