very helpful thankyou. makes me wonder though why are they so fragile? i wonder if the deteriorate with age? just moved into a new place with these blinds, 2 snapped so far from a light pull.
Didn't work for me here's how to do it if plastic slide is too tight. 1. Fold blind in half , pull out plastic slider from middle of blind slat. 2. Gently fold new plastic carrier slide in half try not to snap it. 3. With blind slat folded in half push plastic hanger slide (folded in half still) n push it in either side. 4. Straighten plastic hanger gently so slats now (open or flat) re hang blind.

I tried this method but could not get it to work . I might need to practice a bit more and make a video of it . Thanks for the suggestion
