Manny story was awesome and honestly thanks for sharing it. I’ve had the same story without the faces though. It kept happening in this house I moved in. And you made me refresh my memory on it. I used to see a shadow and would get sleep paralysis at least 3 times a week. There’s this time I remember i was asleep but some type of instinct in me happened that i opened my eyes like to wake up, and i kid not I saw a shadow that was about to come towards me suddenly just start backing away and leaving. Back in the day I feel my brain took at as “ you’re just waking up, it’s happening in your brain from how paranoid you’ve been” (I had been battling sleep paralysis often by that time). There was also a point where I heard voice as I was beginning to knock out, i was in my bed half asleep and it scare me enough to wake me up all fast. But again i was brushing shit off. I haven’t had this experiences in a cool minute. But in this past two years of living here I’ve developed a lot of depression. Idk if it was because of the pandemic or something but now I’m just starting to wonder shit with this story many said lol . Anywho, this was an awesome pod episode.
The scary thing about being Hispanic is when our family gets jealous, they turn to things like that. It’s crazy the things you hear about your own family. And it’s all 100% real, you don’t believe it till you see it too it’s insane
