The Minimalist one legit saved my skin. I remember when it first launched, I literally ordered it, having very less idea of how it works, now when I am literally a skincare geek now I think that's the best blind buy I've ever made. My skin was a disaster during that time, my forehead was bumpy, my entire cheeks were filled with fungal acne. I started using it on 2020, still use it cuz it completely cleared out the bumps on my forehead, I still use it to this day. Way way better than the ordinary ones and many others in the market.
@@Ripjaws3199 yes… Minimalist have some really good products! I tried many of their serums I think in 2020 & 21. Really liked some of their serums, few were ok & some didn’t really work. Again no idea how the latest formulation is.
earlier it used to come with aloe vera , but now they have removed that. Aloe vera with 5 percent suited me a lot . but the new formulation didn't do anything.
@@ShelleyNayaki am having oily, acne prone skin. My concern is to reduce sebum, acne and rectify pigmentation and dullness, which Niacinamide will work for me? Should i try minimalist as you said or something else?
this is so helpful Shelley, so many options to choose from! Thank you so much 💜 The Ordinary niacinamide foams up so bad, and it also smells like glue, I will never repurchase it. Personally, I prefer the Dr Sheth's Centella and Niacinamide serum, it's very light-weight, perfect for minor skin concerns and oily, acne-prone skin. Other favs are the minimalist, Derma Co, and Dot & key ones. I find the plum 10% niacinamide to be very heavy on my skin, winter-appropriate for me

Hello Shelley! Great job on reviewing multiple brands. I'm a skincare routine beginner and didn't use any serum ever before. I have combination skin, like the T area is oily and cheek part is dry. And also have brown spots on my cheeks lesser than 10 and tiny open pores and also dull skin. What would be the best niacinamide serum that suits my concerns. Suggest your best option as my skin is sensitive to any new products.
