After placing 15 on the abacus, to add 7 we have to use lazy friends concept. So add the friend 10 and less the friend 3 ( 3 is friend of 7 ). Now we have to subtract 3 from the units rod. So use small friends subtraction here. Less the friend 5 add the friend 2 ( 2 is friend of 3 ) in small friends. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

The sum is done on the first rod in the left and where u had added the sum that is not home point that is unit point got it u have done very badly in the video
Hi, The point where the calculation is done is not an issue provided various institutes teach to place numbers from different rods.( I come from SIP basically ). So yes your home point could be my unit point and vice versa and well could be some random rod. And could you tell me where I was wrong in the concept in this video.

15 + 6, place 15 on Abacus. Now, add the boss 10 on tens rod. Less 6 friend 4 on units rod. So the answer is 21.
