Step 3: Practice a whole bunch of times
Step 4: Check that you're doing it correctly and on time.
Step 5: Dance with someone you like.
Step 6: Pick a song that moves you... so much, you have to dance to it.

Seriously, this is actually the best cha cha lesson for me. Most appreciated is " Hold the One, and Step #4 Stroke The Floor." (Stand On Paper). I also like the taped floor, foot diagram.

About fifteen years ago, I noticed a young couple doing cha cha per your instruction, and I was in awe. My wife and I took refresher course, but my teacher did not give all details as you did in the clip above. Thanks. BTW, I still do muaythai. Even as a Cuban American, I tried learning how to dance the Cha, Cha, Cha, and I can't learn, because it's starts to become very confusing to me, but with this method of learning, is the best that I have found. I now actually know how to dance the Cha, Cha, Cha. Thank you!

@@DanceInsanity it is probably more like a performance task type of exam. Instead of written, we display a performance. Most particular subject to demand of this is PE.

This is a really great teaching video - if you didn’t put all of the sexual innuendos in it. I would love to recommend this for my homeschooled teenage dance classes, but I can’t. You are a really great teacher and your video tricks are really fun. Please consider that you are losing a great many of your potential customers by not having this be a G rated video.

@@DanceInsanity !!!Cha cha!!! It’s such a struggle and I get so nervous, but it’s so fun!! My instructor is Lithuanian and is a incredible dancer, but it’s nerve wrecking. You and your wife make it down to earth. And you get that it’s difficult. But the studio is closed anyway, because of the pandemic. I’m desperate for practice and I’m still working on basic step timing. I’ll be watching your video 100 times! Just what I was looking for. 🙂
