I don't think Wally Pfister is that great of a cinematographer. I'm not saying he's bad, just that his filmography is pretty average outside of his work with Christopher Nolan. Even then, the cinematography style in Nolan's films have remained consistent after he switched to Hoyte Van Hoytema as his go to DP. This leads me to think Nolan had more of an impact on the cinematography of his films than Pfister.
Even though i get lost on the technical aspects of cinematography (im trying to read books on this matter) i still enjoy these videos so much. Theyre so insightful to whoever whishes to learn about filmmaking
I would love if you did a video on the style of Cinematographer: Bill Pope. Particularly covering his frequent collaborations between Edgar Wright and Sam Raimi.

Very informative video. I discovered Robbie with The Favourite. His photography cleverly enhanced the comedy (or tragedy) in every scene, it was a very intense experienced thanks to him. Thank you for sharing some of his technique and philosophy.
