    Thank you, Father Ed. Thanks God. God Bess You, Too! Ever since I learned the 5-Steps to make it straight to Heaven, I try to practice it. 1. Go to Confession, 2. Receive Communion, 3. Indulgence action (daily holy hour, pray rosary in front of Blessed Sacrament, stations of the cross), 4. Pray for the Pope, 5. Avoid sin. Thank you, Father Ed. Thank you, to everyone who helps makes these videos possible. Thanks God, I know that was You. Thanks God, I Love You, Too. For my 40th Birthday Wish, I pray for No Soul Left Behind. I still am keeping my promise to continue to save more souls. I am trying to keep up with you, Father Ed. May God's Heavenly Armies of Holy Choirs of Angels and Holy Saints protect Father Ed, my church family, and all of God's Creations Always in All Ways. Amen.

    You also have to announce your intent to, The Lord to get any indulgences that day, even the ones your not aware you've have merited, either by action or prayer. "Lord, if I do any Plenary Indulgences or Partial Indulgences today, even the one's I'm not aware I've done, give me the Grace.

    Fr. Broom: Can I gain Plenary Indulgences for the dead?

    I like this lesson about plenary indulgencies a lot as I have forgotten about it ,since priests HAVE stopped preaching essentials good to bring souls to GOD. So with one good plenary indulgence all the past sins are forgiven?. Is it only in November that you can give plenary to the souls in purgatory? Can you suggest a good easy book about plenaries. thank you

    I have heard from a priest in the youtube that the plenary indulgence which I should have received may be given to a soul....but that only one plenary indulgence may be availed of....question if I attend mass , receive communion and offer the plenary indulgence due me to the soul of a friend, and I also say a rosary before the blessed sacrament and offer the plenary indulgence to my 92 year old mother is this proper? I ask this because I heard only one plenary indulgence in a day may be availed of by the one praying...please enlighten me.Thank you Father .

    I have a question Father: When we go to confession...Are we required to give "Details" on all our sinful acts? Or are we just required to state the "Title" of the offense? For example: I am guilty of #2 Taking the Lords name in vain, or #6 I've committed adultery etc...etc. Is stating just the "title" of the offense sufficient? I have heard conflicting opinions… I would just like to know the TRUTH of what is REQUIRED in the sacrament. Thank you for your time. ✝️

      I went to confession and I got a good priest who, after telling him it's been over 12+ years I haven't confessed he gave me a "rundown" like -'Have you gossiped' - ' Have you said the Lord's name in vain' , etc but never asked for specifics per say.

      Jim Bigboystoys it’s better if you don’t give details, that can tempt the priest to visualize things he should not.

      My understanding is that ordinarily you need not give details.
      You are required to say the sin and the amount of times, if it is knowable. You may not know the amount of times you committed a particular sin if your last confession was a long time ago. So, you should say something like, "I have said the Lord's name irreverently 5 times since my last confession." Or, "I used pornography 10 times since my last confession." Something like that.
      A priest can ask for some details to try to work through your occasion to sin for the future. But generally, they are discouraged from asking too many specifics.

      Details are unimportant. Just the sin by name and if it was once, twice, or many times. The only time details might be asked are so the priest can determine the severity of the sin (for example, if you confess 'murder many times' he might ask follow up questions about whether you were forced, or whatever he wants to know to determine -severity-. This is all in the interest of assigning a proper penance in order to properly remit the temporal punishment for the sins.)

      Why confess to a sinful and an erring man like ourselves ? Why not go directly to God to confess your sins? Please read the Bible because it has a lot to say about confession.

    If we are in a time of two Popes, and one is believed to be an Anti- Pope. Which Pope are we supposed to be praying for?

    • @krdiaz8026
      @krdiaz8026 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The true one, of course. It doesn't matter if you don't know who that is. God knows. Just say, "I pray for the pope."

      Pray for both Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

      We aren't in a time of two popes. The Pope Emeritus legitimately retired and passed his role on to His Holiness Pope Francis. Therefore, there is one Pope. Not two. I'm not saying you're obligated to like or agree with the present Holy Father, simply that he must be acknowledged as such.
